Great cruise, highly recommended!

Sail Date: November 04, 2006

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very clean, sparkling, and interior furnishings sumptuous and new in appearance, the itinerary was incredible, and the value outstanding! I can't think of very much that would have made this much better! The crew was friendly, polite and service outstanding... we were treated like VIP's all the way!
I have been on several different lines and this is as close to the top-of-the-line newest ships experience as a person can get!!!
I HIGHLY recommend this cruise ship, and the itinerary! Splurge and go on the excursions, whether through Carnival or independantly, it will greatly add to the overall experience!

Pros: The menu was excellant! Finest first-class cuisine available anywhere!

Cons: not enough towel animals left in room! =)

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
The city tour was worthless, but the snorkeling and water excursions are fantastic!
Don't Miss: anything in, or near, the water
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Port La Caya is wonderful, and a real don't-miss!
Belize City, Belize
It is excellant for all water sports, the nature tours and inner tubing through the caves is a must-see! Also, the Mayan ruins, or pyramids.... incredible!
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
The pool that winds around the shops in the bazaar is fantastic, as is the shopping, and the beach near the lighthouse is idyllic! GREAT prices there, and snorkeling! Watch your receipt when using a credit card! They tend to over-bill you and you pay 10X what it's worth.... also, learn to haggle and walk away from too high prices! You can usually get most items for 1/3 or 1/2 what they are asking (or less!!!)
