Over all, i enjoyed the cruise, just couldn't sleep at night because room was way to hot, sweated every night, staff didn't care about your problems no matter how big or small. You can see it in their eyes that your just a problem that will soon go away forever. so they just hand you a bunch of crap and move you on. the guy we spoke to most name was Darko, what a careless piece of Sh^()!
Embarkation

They got us on pretty fast, this is a smaller ship so i guess less people means smaller lines, the coordinators were very helpful and knew what they were doing.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The buffet on this ship basically serves the same food daily except they will change a couple of things around, the buffet food for the most part was with no flavor, or some made up dish that was horrible. Guys burgers were very good, but you cant eat a burger everyday. The Steak house was the only restaurant that made you feel more like you were back into a sane civilization, the service was great, your not rushed, the steaks were pretty good, the best part was the desert that the chef prepares, cannot remember what its called but just ask. He comes to your table and on a portable prep table he creates art and you want to video this! Its awesome! The BBQ restaurant was a joke, and no wonder why after the first day nobody goes anymore, they dont know how to make BBQ, they need to hire a Texan!! They have room service, but after 10 pm, they charge allot for it. They dont know how to make burritos either, so dont bother. The pizza runs 24 hrs which is nice, the pizza is ok. sometimes all bread and little sauce but you can always go back for another that might be made right. The main dining area, this is the assigned dining for your room, the first night the food was so bad, pork chop was so tough i couldnt finish it and i was hungry! the baked potato was smaller than a dog turd, came with sour cream and bacon bits, WHAT? NO CHEESE? NO BUTTER? NO WAY! the bread basket was terrible, the bread rolls were tough, the sliced bread was dry, you will need allot for butter for choke that down. When we went back two days later, i had the ribs, they tasted like as if they took them out of the package, baked them with no seasonings, poured sauce on them, and served. Yuck! didnt finish them either. we would leave their and go right to the pizza or burgers. the drinks in the buffet area consist of a cruddy tea, and way to sweet lemon aide, let me tell you what you and everyone will end up doing, you get a cup, put ice in it, and fill is halfway with tea or water and then lemon aide, you have to make it half and half to make it tolerable, or just have water. or you can buy a coke for $3,
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The casino was the best part, but you lose money, the pools were to small and over populated so we didnt bother, went to a club and was ok, beer pong was fun to watch. but my wife and i were not of the age group so we felt out of place, and they didn't play no 70s music, just bee bop rap crud and i couldn't take it anymore. not to mention, every where you go, alcohol drinks are no less than $11.00, so overall, not much to do but gamble at the casino.. Bingo was nice and the host was very good..
Entertainment
4 out of 5
stage shows were fun, musicians were good, but the thing is, when you look at the ship mate daily activities, they dont explain what it is, so you would see "the piano man" but you would have to ask someone there or just go see what it is. so we missed out on shows because of the misleading titles.
Children's Programs
my kids are men now.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
so, when you are in a restaurant, they speak decent English, but, if your in the buffet and a staff member walks by cleaning tables or whatever and you have a question, they cant speak English, some just smile and nod their head, so this kinda concerned me, i felt like if i had an emergency, they would have to find a staff member that spoke English to help me which could be to late. In a way overall, you get this feeling that your being played as a fool, they all smile knowing your getting screwed and watch us as we are cattle grazing and they are the dominate ones. And they have leaders that control the situation but at a snap of a finger things could change. Its weird. This is my second cruise with carnival. and my last! When we complained about our room being to hot to customer service, they were so not concerned, they gave us a fan.. Ha, what a joke. they destroyed my wifes new luggage bag, they replaced if with a cheaper one but at least that.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The bathrooms although too small and not enough toilets to suit everyone were very clean for the most part. over all the ship stayed very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

OK, first of all, the Room was hot the entire time, you sweated in bed every night. You cannot smoke on the balcony which was very upsetting considering its outside. the balcony is nice. we were told our bed was a king size, NOT! its clearly a queen, we have a kind size and dont tell me there is a difference in a ships kind size bed aint buying that crap! they lie to us. My nephews were in another cabin and they said the only way to sleep was to get drunk cause it was so hot. the second you step out of your room it was nice and cool, in fact, all the lobbies restaurants and auditoriums were cool..
Ship tip
pack lightly, if you carry on all luggage, you get off first, no room in the room for extras, take plenty of extra money for drinks,
not much to do, some shops were ok, but for a Mexico shopping center, they ask for higher prices than what you can get back home, the only reason i allowed my wife to purchase some was for a souvenir,
we did an excursion to the Myan Minds, it was fun, take the VIP one, its worth it. the shops in Cozumel were big and much more to choose from, you can negotiate prices and watch for the Silver, most is sterling silver and they will lie to you about it to sell it. Read the labels! The restaurants were nice, but watch the little mexicans, they will over charge your credit card, they billed me 900 pesos but charged my card $900.00, so i disputed it and the bank is working on it, KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS! I have proof of my purchase.
OMG! A LIVING HELL! The slowest painful process is this, when the ship starts the process the room jockeys start cleaning the rooms immediatley, they ask you to leave your room and wait on deck 5 or 9 which is over populated and no seating available, so people are sitting on floors luggage, whatever, so much for comforst now! then when your tag number is finally called, you have to work your way out of ship then walk forever to just wait in a two hour line for customs to check your status. DUMB! Not enough people to do this process.
What a narrow minded blow hard... if I had to interact with him, I would pretend to not understand him as well. (BTW, speaking English is a requirement for crew. I think that puts them ahead of this OP in communication. Most crew have their bachelors degree as well). SMH...
I thought for sure this was a comedy review, then realized you didn't understand the difference between Honduras and Mexico. That kind of made the rest not very credible. But like the guy says "maybe cruising isn't for you".
