This was our first cruise ever and didn’t really have anything to compare it to. We were astounded at how much we loved the entire experience- few hiccups and all. Can’t wait to cruise again and I would like to repeat this cruise with my family in tow.
Embarkation

The safety review was excrutiating. Took a long time of standing, in a hot crowd, with the employees just waiting and waiting. Didn’t seem very organized. Long time cruisers told us this was not normal for a cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was awesome. We had the unlimited soda and was surprised to learn that we could only get a soda from the bars, could not get any after the bars closed and before they opened in the mornings, and couldn’t take an unopened can back to the cabin for later. This seemed petty with the amount paid for having unlimited sodas.

Entertainment

The performers were outstanding!! They kept us entertained and they were incredibly talented and provided high quality shows. Don’t miss the nightly show after dinner. Spectacular.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were really great. Other than a bar tender at the Red Frog Pub-he was a bit rude.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This was the most immaculate and clean ship I could imagine. They were constantly cleaning. It did interrrupt at times, but it was nice for everything to be so clean.

Ship tip
Take an outlet strip as there is 1 plug in the cabin, magnetic hooks. Don’t check your bags to leave when the trip is over. Carry them with you and you’ll leave a lot quicker.
This is where we disembarked. The leaving was described above. The return through customs was worse. Lots of standing and doing nothing. Never was checked for anything. Then they had put one of my bags in the wrong spot. Across the building in a different group altogether. Thank goodness I tied loud scarves on all of them. I spotted it by accident. This was had all my nice clothes and shoes! Took us from 8 am to 12 to get off the ship and to our car.
Can’t wait to go back and spend more time. Took the 4x4 Jeep ride up the North Coast, Natural Bridge, Arisha beach. This is worth repeating. Also saw California lighthouse, and lots of other historical sites as well as beautiful scenery.
Took a tour of the city by boat and land. Visited the Fort and learned more history. It is worth it to take scheduled excursions. Well worth the money!
Go zip- lining. It was so much fun. Only hit was they didn’t seem ready for our first group and we had to wait on one of the platforms about 30minutes with about 10 others. A safety line broke, but they had already taught us how to stop ourselves if we had to, so this was no big deal, other than the wait of them also trying to fix it.
We took a tour of the Tulum Ruins. Great trip, but a lot of wasted time getting to and from the ruins. 3 hours in transit and not enough time to enjoy the ruins or see Cozumel. Do something on the island instead. Save Tulum for when you stay on the mainland.
That’s awesome 👍so good you enjoyed your cruise experience... 🚢
