Review summary

This was my first cruise and it was great. The cruise director Malcom was wonderful and so was most of the staff. The only issue I had was that I took my 14yr old and 10yr old with me, and when we went to get off the ship in Belize my girls were with a friend and we got separated. I went up to a lady to make sure that they couldn't get off the ship without me, and the lady replied that they are not a daycare and my kids are my problem.  I knew that they are my responsibility, but I just was trying to make sure that they couldn't get off the ship without me.

My overall experience was amazing and I will definitely plan on going on a Carnival cruise again.

Definitely plan an excursion when going to Belize, if not then plan on shopping and drinking because there is nothing else. No beach, unless you go on an excursion.

That would be the time to note their name, ask for their supervisor and let them know you'll find out if he shared the same opinion. I'm sure you wanted to get off of the ship but handling employee issues such as that might save the next parent from getting the same thing... I find that rare in crew members and their manager wouldn't want to take a "hit" (feedback) due to an attitude from subordinates...

That was rude of them. Parents get so much disrespect from a**holes sometimes. They likely don't have kids of their own or they might understand. I'm glad you had an awesome time though!
