We looked at the deck maps and we are over the shopping areas so they should be closed by the time we go to bed...

If you can't live with the possibility of getting the worst room in the category that you're booking, don't book Guarantee rate as they choose the room for you. You could get lucky and get a great room or get a crappy room.

CruisingFreedom, your cabin is located (sandwiched) between another cabin floor (good) and the Promenade deck, a high traffic deck (Fun Shops, exit from the theatre). My wife and I've stayed at all cabin locations, up/down, forward/aft, without problems, but others have complained about noise from high traffic areas. Our quietest cabins have been located with cabins above and below us...

We always cruise RC. Only second and they didn't give us room choice. We booked almost a year ahead. We do like close to elevators. We got that. Waiting to get on ship right now !!!

always do your research before booking. If you book a cabin that is above the Disco you are going to hear loud music until 2 am. we learned that the hard way! Now we book on decks that have cabins above and below.
