Very satisfied, no problems, other than a killer sunburn haha
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very easy. Had FTTF, which you actually do not even need for the San Juan port. They start embarkation about 11am and start with priority passengers, after checking your bags to the left you head straight inside to check in and from there right onto the ship instead of waiting in a holding area.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was better than I expected for this ship. Buffet was good 6 of the 7 days. Main dining room was good. Service on point. Loved the chilled fruit soups.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Not as many activities as other ships but still plenty to do. Of course pools get congested with chair hogs on the sea days. The live shows were not all that great in my opinion, I get they do work very hard, just was not feeling the performers. Most of the music they did, did not fit the performer
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was very attentive and helpful
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Good location, between mid ship elevators and atrium lobby.
Ship tip
Do not book the aft on deck 7, they have a septic issue and the odor does leak into the hallway. This happened to us on another ship and it was awful being in the hallway. Luckily this time we were not.
Maho beach of course! Aka airport beach. Some caution though, do not go into the water if you’re not a strong swimmer, the waves throw you around even when an airplane is not there. Also do not face the runway to take a picture of a plane taking off. They amount of heat, wind and sand that gets kicked up is insane!
Take a round trip $16 a person taxi to Magen beach, very clean, very pretty beach. There are sea turtles there you’ll see popping there heads up closer to the buoys. You can rent a kayak for an hourly rate to get a closer look at them
