Review summary

We have been on over 12 cruises with multiple carriers.  This cruise was average. The ship is older and configured differently from other ships.  The initial safety review was not effective and left people not knowing what they should in the event of an emergency.  We did not particularly like the dining seating as well.  The ports were great and kept us moving quite a bit.  Some of the entertainment was good but some was bad.  The common area food was initially was good but it became the same (not much change) as the week progressed.   All in all we considered this average or even a little below average.  We like Carnival but will probably avoid this ship in the future.

Looking forward to Dec 11th cruise on Fascination. The ports look great and we always have a great vacation on any Carnival ship.

We've sailed twice on the Fascination and are booked for our third cruise on her this December. We fell in love with this ship and its crew. Can't wait till December!

Everyone has different expectations. As for my wife and I, we are just happy to cruise and take the ships as they come. None are perfect, but we ignore the minor details and just enjoy our time. Not everyone can do that, or they simply prefer to look for imperfections...

Well said, it would be nice if some can keep their opinion at a minimum so that other can form one of their own based on personal experiences. This will our 3rd cruise on the Facination so it should speak volume as to our experience on this particular ship.

Carnival Fascination was my first cruise and so far my only one to date. We are going on a cruise in September on the Magic. I thought the Fascination was great and we had a wonderful experience. We all understood the emergency briefing and felt comfortable on what to do in an event of an emergency. I would recommend the Fascination again to others.
