Review summary

I enjoyed the Fascination itself, but the crew was a different story..after the third day of having to make my own bed and go searching for clean towels I was sure it was a training crew. The dining options were there but trying to get to them without having to stand in a line for 25 minutes or longer was a task. The entertainment was fine. I found that I looked forward to the ship docking into each new port so I could eat and be treated nicely. This was my 4th cruise and I'm slated to go again in October with my sisters but after the staffing issues on the Fascination I'm going to think really hard before I decide if I want to go.

After day 1 of not cleaning the cabin, a call would have been made to the purser desk to get it corrected.

How shy are you to not ask for or contact service desk about this issue for you to make your own bed? You didn't contact your room service crew and if that didn't work contact service desk... Standing in line for dining? As if anytime dining wasn't a risk or guaranteed seating upon your arrival. Things that can easily be fixed , you made them look like "big" deal.

Birdgirl said it exactly right: Strange. Very strange. When something like this happens concerning your cabin, (really, after the first day of bad stewardship) contact the hotel manager and request a different steward and explain the reasons. He/she will have an an aneurysm, then straighten the situation out...

Hmmm..strange. Loved the Fascination myself. Every crew is dfferent. Hope you don`t judge them all by a bad experience. Sure you will have a good time on the next sail
