Had a great time!!

The ship was late arriving at port, therefore our sail date was pushed back two hours, which would have been fine, but it left 8 hours late. So the first day at sea, they went faster then normal to make up for time, which made the ship much less smooth and uncomforatable. The staterooms were dirty when we checked in. The entire boarding process was completely unorganized. Oh and the ships deck plans found on Carnivals website dont match the actual deck plans. The port were great. I highly recommend Chichen Itza. Cozumel was great for shopping and for beaches.

This was my 6th or 7th Carnival cruise, sorry I lose track. I've been on Conquest class, Destiny class, Triumph class, and Spirit class carnival ships. This was my first Fantasy class carnival ship. Since the fantasy class ships are smaller I was hesitant. No need to be, it was a beautiful ship with loads of activites and lots of space and places to see... I didn't even get to see them all! I also downgraded to a window room for the first time in over 10 years. Although I missed my balcony I didn't miss it as much as I thought I would as there were plenty of places on deck to enjoy the outdoors. Also there is a private place aft called Serenity. Its for Adults only, have two hot tubs and spaces to lay out and read. Great place to go if you don't have a balcony room. The real reason I wanted to write this review was because of the over and above the call of duty service I received from each and every member I came in contact with over the 5 day cruise. From the embarkation station to the debarkation station every crew member was AWESOME! I've had good service on Carnival before (or else I wouldn't keep coming back) but these people were well beyond the customer service I received in the past. I don't know if its just this particular crew or if Carnival has implemented a new training program on customer service. Either way it was impressive. So much so until we left tips beyond the $10 a day that is automatically charged to your sail and sign account. I will be going on the Elation again, that is for sure!

The stateroom stewards were great The main shows were not as good as all previous cruises the food in the buffet was not good & mostly cold This may have been because this was the last cruise by Carnivall out of mMobile Al

We have sailed before on Carnival ships. We have also sailed on Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise ships. However this last cruise on Carnival Elation to Western Caribbean was the most satisfying to us. The food was great as the Maitre"D and the Head Waiter took care of all our special needs with regard to food. The entertainment was great. On the downside, we felt more could have been done to inform the passengers about the "Win a free Cruse" raffle and "Win a free Gift"' raffle etc. By the time we had found out about it it was too late. Overall we were more than satisfied with the cruise experience and we would definitely recommend this ship to others.

The ship was clean. The food ok. The room stewarts and the dining room employees and one customer service lady were good at their jobs. For the most part I was very disappointed with Carnival this time. The employees were not friendly, not caring, nor were they helpful. The Captain didn't even come to either time for "his" own party. (Maybe there is a link between the Captain and crew.)

This was our first cruise and it was everything we had hoped it would be and more, We didn't want to get off the ship when we came into port. All off ship excursions went smoothly and problem-free. The service on board was great, the staff seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. The Elation was a smaller ship, I learned when docked next to the Triumph, but still great. We visited Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

The are taking care of everything, it's nice. The clubs and bars are kind of dead during the evening.

My husband and I enjoyed meeting wonderful.happy people at our dinner table! We had a lot in common with one another. The excursions were wonderful and I learned so much from our visit to Tulum.

BEST VACATION FOR THE MONEY.

It was very clean and I thought impressive although this was our first cruise. The staff was very helpful and I had a great time.

Clean and well laid outl Elevators were not reliable however so stairs were necessary a lot of the time. Also, wear a watch ...not many clocks anywhere..which may be by design!!

At first glance, the ship - The Ecstacy - is beautiful. However, upon closer look, the ship badly needs refurbishing. Upholstery is worn, the decor is outdated and in poor condition in some areas. The service was impeccable and the food was generally good. The evening shows were good. I do not feel that this cruise was not as good as other Carnival cruises we have taken.

The Elation was a nice size ship for a cruise, not too big and not too small. I was impressed with the stabalization, very smooth sailing. The cruise director keep a lot of activities going and the shows were well done. Judging from previous (Carnival) cruises, I was a bit disappointed in the food taste and quality, nothing was very spectacular. We were happy with our room, we had a grand suite and balcony which was super nice and we were treated as VIP. The crew was very nice and accomodating. We especially loved our Dinner Dining room crew - high energy and really made dinner time fun.

the ship was very nice, but airport transfers were terable, the took us to a hospital to pick up a patient and then to a pharmacy where we waitted for a RX to be filled before they dropped us off......I ffelt like we were on a senior citizens vans and we are not seniors! State room was very small but extremely clean.

Very good trip, wish more of the activities on board was geared towards people in ther 20s

The Elation was a lot of fun. Very clean ship too!
