5 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip)
Sail Date: November 05, 2011
Ship: Carnival Elation
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 6 years ago
The ship was late arriving at port, therefore our sail date was pushed back two hours, which would have been fine, but it left 8 hours late. So the first day at sea, they went faster then normal to make up for time, which made the ship much less smooth and uncomforatable. The staterooms were dirty when we checked in. The entire boarding process was completely unorganized. Oh and the ships deck plans found on Carnivals website dont match the actual deck plans.

The port were great. I highly recommend Chichen Itza. Cozumel was great for shopping and for beaches.

Progresso itself didnt look like a great place, but the Mayan Ruins surroudning it were great.
Don't Miss: Chichen Itza
