My wife and I just got back from our cruise and overall it was an average experience... Our room(E69) was well appointed, very bright and clean, and the bathroom was relatively spacious. Customer service was inconsistent, as there were some that went out of their way to help, and others that didn’t. Our steward, Joey, wasn’t friendly and even walked in on my wife and I after I clearly told him “Wait just a minute” so I could get the door. Extremely rude! Nassau and HMC were awesome, and the excursions were excellent! We did the city walking tour in Nassau and the Bike & Hike in HMC. All tour guides were informative, friendly, and thorough. The food was mostly mediocre and flavorless. Guy’s Burgers was excellent and fresh. The lemonade was good. However, the “prime rib” was nothing more than roast beef. Blue Iguana was a disappointment too. We ended up eating in the Lido Deck the last three nights after we figured out the food in the restaurants was basically the same thing, minus the 30 minute wait time for our “scheduled” dinners. All-in-all, the ship was a means of transportation to get us to the Bahamas and back. I doubt we’ll use Carnival again.

We did our first cruise on here and had a blast. We got the extended balcony and it was completely worth it!!! The bartenders, entertainment, amd servers were interactive and fun. Hit your drink limit and you get to join the water club 😊

Half moon Kay was awesome. Wait for over and hour and a half just for some one to get us water at brunch. Advertising online “ hot tubs “ are cold and so is the pool water. For breakfast on 10 you wait in line for 20 minutes before you even get your food . The staff for dinner is awesome always bringing you water and whatever you need ,Michelle at “ your time dining “ was amazing and friendly and was very welcoming. Just wouldn’t go on this cruise again .

It didn't hook me but didn't turn me away either. We had fun but were ready to come home.

First cruise and best vacation ever. Entertainment was fun. Cam the director was exceptional. Liked Dan the comedian and Rico. Small ship but very clean. Met a lot of people. Everyone friendly.

The Carnival Elation was my first cruise so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Of all the food we tried, (Guys Burgers, Blue Iguana, Sea Day Brunch, Main Dining Room, Lido Buffet, Room Service, Carnival Deli) everything I had was great. I was never disappointed in my food. All of the drinks that we had were very good also. Dewa @ Red Frog Rum Bar made me some excellent and strong drinks. Roderick in the Main Dining Room was also wonderful each and every night. He would bring me out appetizers that I didn’t even order for me to try & he kept our glasses full. I’m not much of a wine drinker (I’m just not as knowledgeable about it- I like the taste and flavors) so each night Roderick would just bring me some wine to go with my dinner. Our room was always tidy when we came back in the evening and was clean upon arrival. I can’t speak for the shows or very much about entertainment because we did our own thing most of the cruise. Cam (the cruise director for our sailing) seemed to really enjoy his job and was definitely energetic. I had a blast all the way around. Even if it is a smaller Carnival ship, I would jump on this thing any day of the week.

Want to go back soon. Loved it. The horseback riding at h as lo moon cay was my favorite part. The casino on the ship was another highlight. It was just a great experience! If it would if been a little warmer it would of been perfect.

Big kudos to all support staff, especially the cruise director, cabin attendant and dining staff.The food had to be the highlight of the trip.Always hear about obscene amounts of food and that was certainly true. Recommend this economical cruise to anyone.

Half Moon Cay is the most perfect beach and water. What an amazing place to hang out at!! The Barbeque lunch on the island is good and the pirate ship bar is awesome!!

Disembarkation was slow. Were platinum and it was10:15 when we got to car. Customs only had three people checking us out. I think it was due to government shut down. Not carnivals fault. Half moon cay was awesome. Overall good cruise

I was able to relax, have zero stress, and have myself surrounded by like-minded people. The staff was wonderful! I recommend Carnival to anyone that will listen!

This was a very enjoyable and relaxing cruise for us.

I went with 5 other people. My 1st cruise. It was all confusing at first, but I caught on quickly. Food was Excellent. The on board activities was very fun. We did not do any excursions on this cruise. We just took advantage of the beaches at each port. Did some shopping. Stopped at a place and had a few drinks with my crew. Loved it all !!

Loved this Ship. Would definitely go again. Cam was a great Cruise Director. Anthony in the Casino was great he took great care of us the whole time. Roderick in the Main Dining room was awesome. He knew what we wanted and how we liked our salad. He made sure to have our lemons for our water every night. Thanks for such a great experience.

Great New Years Cruise. Terminal was smooth for most part, ship was refitted, and CD Cam was great. Kids had a blast and we were able to do everything with hardly any wait. The food was good, room did what we needed it to do (shower and sleep), and was an overall good experience.

This was our second Carnival Elation cruise, and it was an improvement from one year before. Ship is not a mega ship, which we like, but still provides plenty for my family of 5. The waterpark is a favorite of my kids, and as a parent, can't complain because they are fully occupied. Pool is smaller in size but provides the entertainment needed. Food quality this time was much better on board, even though the menus were the same. Only complaint was entertainment/talent was better in 2018 vs. 2019. But overall, we love this ship.

Great ship & great cruise. Very clean. 2.0 features made it even better. My first cruise experience was during New Years and couldn’t picked a better one to go on. Cam the cruise director was amazing and the Oscar in the Dining room was also excellent. Great steward also. All around A+++ already booked another!!

Overall cruise was great. Had tons of fun with friends. Only disappointment was the Faster to the Fun.

The overall experience was great. The weather cooperated most of the cruise and the crew we're all fun and friendly. Other than a few issues with the ship, one of the ships propellers quit working during the cruise and had to be repaired and of course the elevator was working in the atrium and only one soft serve machine, I would rate this a 7 out of 10

Our fun-filled awesome evenings were nearly overshadowed by the amount of squalling, balling infants and toddlers during the day, and the long waiting lines for everything. And there were quite a few rude and unruly tweens left to run wild. I never had trouble with the Cheers package previously, but question if I'll purchase again or even cruise Carnival again.
