Review summary

I was able to relax, have zero stress, and have myself surrounded by like-minded people. The staff was wonderful! I recommend Carnival to anyone that will listen!

Embarkation

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it went! They’re very efficient!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I’m ridiculously picky, so it was difficult to find something I liked in the dining rooms. The buffet, Guys Burger Bar, and the taco bar were my go to’s. The food there was great!

Drama Bar

5 out of 5

This was our favorite place to catch Rachel, and Cluster Funk. Great service, and a good time, but could use more seating, other than the bar. I was too short to comfortably sit on the atools, and the seating on the side was very limited.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I was there to relax, so I didn’t join any activities, but they were fun to watch!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Our absolute favorite was Cluster Funk, with Rachel coming in at a very close second!! We followed them both around the ship to catch as many of their shows that we could. We also really enjoyed the comedy show on our last night. Rico Suave was an excellent host!

Children's Programs

I didn’t have my children with me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
There wasn’t anywhere on that ship that we had anything but the best service! Widodo, our room steward, was so kind, efficient, and accommodating! BangBang and Ian at the Red Frog were exemplary, as well! We didn’t wait long for anything!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was absolutely lovely, but I was disappointed in that some things weren’t operational. One of the glass elevators wasn’t working, and was and eyesore. It was disassembled and abandoned the entire cruise. I also suggest more hot tubs. 4 on the entire boat weren’t enough. Imwaited over an hour for ine, inly to leave because they were all full, and no one was getting out. The tubs on the lido deck were always full of kids. I never got the chance to use one. Being disabled, I was in bed fairly early, so getting one at night was not an option.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a great room, but it could use a few additions. A plug near the bed for my husband’s C-PAP machine, a few more hooks on the wall. Other than that, Widodo took very good care of our room!

Ship tip

Be ready to kick back and relax!

Ports of call

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

This was a great time! I’ll definitely book back to HMC. The cabanas were the best!!

Nassau, Bahamas

We had the VIP excursion, and this would have been so much better if there was a bathroom closer to the VIP beach, and a tram to take us there. Again, I’m disabled, so the amount of walking was ridiculous! The “tram” they advertised was a golf cart that was never available. We won’t be booking that a second time.

Disembarkation

The wait to get through customs is entirely too long. By the time we got done, I could barely walk, and I had yet to traverse the airport.
