The ship is beautiful. The atrium is in the center and all of the shops and retaurants, etc are off of that. It is easy to get around. The cabins are nice and big for a cruise ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was not too good. There was no variety at breakfast. They had the same menu options, the same fruit, the same pasties every day. Dinner was not much better. There was little flavor to the food.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Not many activities and no team activities, which on other hsip gives you an opportunity to meet more people. No activites for those who didn't go into port.

Stay on board! We asked at the info booth at the port about art galleries which were listed on the tourism site. We were told to take a taxi ($5 each) to town and there was a lot to see. There was absolutely nothing there. The beach is nice, but there are a lot of rocks in the water making it difficult to get into. Margaritaville is there, the drinks are cheaper and better on the ship. Stay on board, enjoy the uncrowded ship.

Try the skyride to paradise and parasailing at Sapphire beach

Pros: The Carnival Elation is a great ship, easy to get around.

Cons: The food was not too good on this ship. Not enough activities. Didn't like Grand Turk
