Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Amazing food service team. For breakfast, Tancha always made sure our morning meal was to our liking and that it got to us as quickly as possible so that we could get on with our excursions, etc. For dinner, Sa Nguan and his team made sure our evening meal was something you could savor and take your time enjoying. His recommendation of the day was always spot on. Komang was always sure to stop by to say hi and show us a cool trick.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The spa was awesome as usual since the main pools and hot tubs are usually crowded. Silandile and Chantalle were amazing and took care of us everytime we went to the spa. It was always well stocked with towels and plenty of cucumber water.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Love and Marriage/Bingo/Casino Drawings/Trivia/Comedy Shows/Q&A w/Laurence(Cruise Director) All awesome activities.

Children's Programs

No children on board.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Laurence and the Fun Team were awesome. People like them make Carnival the most fun you can have on the ocean. Special recognition must be given to Dan Dwight and Made in the lobby bar for always having the best drinks! Sandi, our room attendant, made our stay extra special by leaving a special anniversary message and two swans in our room. Rahuul and Michael from Pixels(photo pickup) were friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The common areas were very clean and well maintained. The staff works very hard to make sure all areas of the ship are ready for guests. The Dream is a great ship but does not have the technology some of the newer ships have like in the photo area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of desk area and a stool for getting ready.

Ship tip

Introduce yourself to the staff and they will remember you for the entire trip. It makes your experience even better.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
Biker rally caused complications upon arrival and delayed boarding.

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Excursion was cancelled and refunded due to high winds. We rented a golf cart instead and drove around the island. We visited some of the local shops, landmarks, and beaches and had a great time.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
The cruise port is mostly industrial but has plenty of places to shop, eat, and drink. We visited the Stoned Crab and had an awesome time. Even though the winds were high, the water and the view were still unbelievable.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
You can just get off the boat and wander the island. They have shops, food, and drinks available but you can't use the drink package here.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Very busy port, with lots of vendors and places to eat and drink.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast and easy.
