Review summary

Had heard some bad things about Carnival Cruises but none of the rumors were true. Had a great time on the Dream and will definitely be sailing with Carnival again. Thanks for a fun week.

Ship was fully staffed so no issues with long lines at the bar or restaurants.

Had an interior cabin but since we really only slept and cleaned up we had no problems. Our room attendant was great.

Ship tip

If you’re planning on going ashore at private island book an early time to go. If you wait you won’t have much time to enjoy beach and amenities.

Went to Banana Bay for the day. Nice and quiet beautiful beach, only thing I didn’t like was the bus ride there. I didn’t sign up for a tour of who owns what house and why. Just take me to Banana Bay.

So much fun! Took Tiki bar boat around the bay. Not offered as an excursion but only about an hour long and well worth it.

Nassau, Bahamas

Spent the day at Margaritaville resort. Less expensive than the Atlantis, much smaller but they have a lazy river, nice pool area, access to the beach and slides for kids.

Good to hear. Do be aware that the rumors are often true for any cruise line's short (3-4 day) cruises.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. I can attest to having had an issue with Carnival. I personally will never go back but to each their own for sure.
