Review summary

Liked using the Carnival app. Had a schedule for every day and were able to book an excursion through it. We could pick and choose what activities we wanted to be involved in and had a good time. There was always something to do for all ages. The only drawback was The Chat on the app. Had to pay for it and very rarely worked. We had a big group and weren’t able to keep in contact like we thought.

Embarkation

We were able to go through the process a little earlier than scheduled. The line went fairly quickly and so did the paperwork process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining was great. Wait staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Used our names when serving our food. Food was brought out fairly quickly. The Buffet was great also. Had a large variety of dishes that changed daily for dinner and you could go back and try a little of everything. We went to the Steakhouse the first night. It was amazing for the price. Food was excellent and services was even better. Felt very pampered. No rushing. Able to take our time and enjoy our meal.

Onboard Activities

Played a few of the trivia games , beer pong and bingo. Took the grand kids to Build A Bear party. Attended some of the deck parties. We all had a good time.

Entertainment

DJ was great. He played a lot of music that everyone could enjoy and dance to. Only went to the magic show. He was funny and entertaining.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Kids enjoyed the clubs and getting away from the adults. Really enjoyed Build A Bear. Didn’t go all the time, but liked it when they did.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Steward Rogie was awesome. He would have conversations with us every day. My husband wasn’t feeling well (allergies/cold) and he would ask me how he was feeling. Would come back with towels and whatever we needed. Staff in Buffett, Main Dining and bar areas were wonderful also. All were friendly and made sure we had a good experience. Lawrence the cruise director had a lot of energy and made sure we all had a great time.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Every where was clean and well maintained. There were always staff cleaning. We were able to maneuver around the ship after an initial walk through.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Rogie kept our cabin in great shape. Beds were made every day and had clean towels. Pleasantly surprised we had two shower areas. Had enough room to move around and put our clothes away.
