Review summary

Good cruise even with the flaws. There will always be things to complain about but there are more things to be positive about. The crew was great and tried their best to serve everyone happily even when they had rude, entitled people in their face. The food quality had gone down over the years but you can usually find something up to your standards if you try.

MDR was good most nights, service could be better but I’m not going to complain about someone serving me. There are new food items that are delicious and an added 4th page to the menu with vegan items! You have to access those via the Carnival hub, not the QR code though. The Lido buffet was hit or miss at dinner but the regional cuisines at lunch were tasty.

Trivia was all the same and when you have so many repeat cruisers that memorize the answers, it can get boring. The pools didn’t seem as overly crowded this trip but it could have been just the one I was at and the time of day, nice change from usual.

We were upgraded to a suite, the extra space was nice but amenity-wise there wasn’t much difference from what we were already getting. Though, on the next cruise, I’ll wish I was back in the suite! The shower was spacious, 3 sinks, room for 4 and ample closet space.
