Service and Staff
5 out of 5
John Paul our room steward and his assistant Jayson were fantastic and fulfilled every need we had. Artum and Anyu our servers were friendly and very attentive. I fractured my ankle at Half Moon Cay and when I went to the medical first aid station, Michael an RN wrapped it for me. When I got back onboard I was given a wheelchair and was escorted to the medical center. Dr. Arun was very professional and crated my ankle where it showed a fracture. He put a cast on it and since I had pain medication from pain management doctors at home, I took that medication for pain. The entire staff in the medical center took very good care of me. While our stateroom wasn’t an accessible room, we did the best we could under the circumstances.

Ship tip
I fractured my ankle while on Half Moon Cay and we had a regular balcony room, so it was difficult to maneuver in and out of the room as well as the bathroom. An accessible room was not offered by guest services. If there was one available, it would have been nice to have had the option to change rooms.
We did the Island calypso Tour and it was very informative. I fractured my ankle in the water and went to the first aid station and The RN-Michael wrapped it for me. We enjoyed the cabana we rented even though we were only able to use it for a short time.
We have had a cruise that we have had to use a handicapped room. Sadly they go fast. If your accident happed during the cruise they most likely did not have one for you. Hope all is well with your ankle now and thanks for sharing
