Review summary

Try to relax, lots of people and if you believe in wearing mask do so when in crowded areas. We got really sick on the last day.

The food overall was good, I have been on some ships where the food was awful and not seasoned.

Seafood Shack

The lobster rolls and fish and chips at the seafood shack were awful!! The lobster roll was like very mayonnaise with no seasoning and the fish was cut into five to six pieces that we're overcooked. For the long wait we had to endure the food should have been better.

Carnival Deli

The sandwiches were very delicious my only dislike is that they won't let you remove items due to them being premixed.

The Chef's Art Steakhouse

Are waitress was the sweetest, such a very upbeat and positive person. She took excellent care of us! My cowboy steak and my wife's filet and lobster tail were cooked perfectly. We told her it was our anniversary, and the chefs made us to excellent dessert platters.

Guy's Burger Joint

The burgers were alright on this cruise. The meat tasted different, and they were always out of barbeque sauce at the toppings station. Also, I think they changed their fries supplier none of the fries I had on the ship were good.

Bonsai Sushi Bar

Delicious that I didn't get what I ordered, but what they brought was very good—I also got charged for a drink that I never received. I brought it to their attention, and she gave me a drink for the road.

Jackpot Casino

We played, we won a lot, and then gave it all back. Thanks to all the free drinks “Jernie” delivered. We mostly stayed in the non-smoking casino. I didn't particularly appreciate that it was warmer than the main casino. We spent the majority of the cruise in the casino. On the last sea day, we hit the jackpot and were able to pay our onboard charges of over 2gs in cash.

Punchliner Comedy Club

We caught two PG comedy shows of Happy Cole, and sorry, I forgot his name. I never knew clean comedy routines could be so funny, and I can only imagine their adult-only shows.

We had a bad experience with a casino bartender that treated us like idiots when we tried claiming the complimentary water bottles you receive as gold members. He said we redeemed them already. We told him we had not, and he said maybe you drank them and didn't remember! Long story short we had to go to guest services, and they tried to make it right. So, in the end, we didn't get the bottles due to numerous mistakes on carnival part. I wish that they would have your water and pins ready when you first get into your cabin.

Bathroom was dirty and smelled like pee and we had to wipe everything down. Maybe the room is close to ship’s filtration systems. The refrigerator was also dirty has other people stuff in it. I think this was in part due to the Coast Guard not clearing the ship in a timely manner. I will say when we came back to the room later that evening our room was very clean and smelt heavenly. There is one outlet for the room.

First time here and wasn't sure at first, got called some choice words walking down the street. Lots of people were highly intoxicated during the Mardi Gras parade. Took over an hour to get an Uber/Lyft after the cruise. We even walked blocks away from the port.

Don’t panic if you are still in the tender line after the last supposed last tender boat leaves time. They are not going to leave you!!

Don’t go to Paradise Beach after 12pm they ignore you. When we finally got service our day got better took about an hour though.

I’ve loved my other Carnival cruises, but I wasn’t happy with the last cruise I took. The electrical outlet was not attached to the wall, our sink in the bathroom was plugged up for 3 days, the shower head was broke and laying on the floor.
