We made the most out of this cruise, just like everyone we met.
Embarkation

Going through security was quick, but we had to sit in the terminal for a while.

The changes can be seen right away. Guy's burgers and buns were smaller and the pig patty was no longer coming with the patty of bacon. instead it was 1 piece of bacon cut in half. The shrimp cocktail no longer comes with garlic sauce. Just 15 minutes after it opened we were told there would be a 50-60 minute wait for food at the pasta place for lunch. I was ignored at bars. We were only asked twice out of all the shows we went to if we wanted drinks. One night I stopped at the coffee shop at 10:55pm for a dessert and was told she was closed, but wasn't supposed to be until 11pm. The lobster tail in the steakhouse on our anniversary was smaller than the mdr and overcooked. We were given a bottle of wine at the end of our meal, but the couple next to us were given a free bottle and served it during dinner. Yes they knew it was our anniversary before we ordered. On the first formal night in the MDR I ordered 2 shrimp cocktails and 2 lobster tails with no risotto. While we waited, the lady next to us got both of her shrimp cocktails and both of her lobster tails at the same time. They bring me out 1 shrimp cocktail and never a second. Then they bring me 1 lobster tail WITH risotto! When I pointed it out, they told me to give it to my husband and they would bring me 2 more tails. We tried the Green eggs and ham breakfast and while it was cute, the food was not good. First I ordered the cereal crusted French toast and an omelette with bacon and cheese. The omelette was smaller than the ones in the buffet and had ham, not bacon. The French toast was poorly executed. The cereal on it was like chewing cardboard and the batter they used to stick it to the bread was still raw. I asked for pancakes and those were terrible, tough, and dry. Even the couple sitting with us abandoned their Green Eggs and ham breakfast they ordered and left! The Deli was good. The Seafood shack was good. Guys burgers and Guy's BBQ are always good. The Blue Iguana food is good as well.

Karaoke was a hot mess this time. I went and signed up to sing 2 songs on the 3rd night about 30 minutes after it started. I waited nearly 2 hours to sing the 1st song while they kept calling the same people over and over. Never got to song 2, we left to catch a show. I tried again the next night, making sure to get there before it started and submit 3 songs to sing. I sing my 1st song 3rd, then wait so long to sing the 2nd song that my husband got tired and left. But of course again the same few people from before kept getting called up again and again and most of them were bad. I finally got to my 2nd song a few minutes after my husband left and the mic was so screwed up that I couldn't even finish the song. I didn't try again and they didn't even have karaoke the last 2 days of the cruise at all. The hot tubs on the serenity deck were warm, but not as hot as they were on our honeymoon cruise in 2021. At one point a group of 3 adults proceeded to bring a child up there and got in the hot tub with us. We told them that children were not allowed up there, but still they stayed with the child just passing him back and forth. Staff walked by a couple of times and I am quite sure they heard the kid, but they didn't say or do anything. Another couple told us that we could use the sauna and steam room in the spa for free to warm back up as it was getting cold and windy. My husband went on back to the room and I went to the spa to warm up first. I found a locker to put my things in and tested it by the instructions on the wall before locking my things inside. It worked and I proceeded. I walked into the steam room and walked right back out because it felt suffocating, and the door was still open. I then went to the sauna for literally like 2 minutes and returned to the locker room. I entered my code into the locker and it refused to open. I tried multiple times with no luck and finally had to go to the desk for help. A lady came in and tried a few times herself before calling maintenance in to bust it open. He comes in a few minutes later and kept trying the same things both she and I had already done including resetting it. Finally he asked me what my code was, entered it, banged on the door a few times and it popped open. I did notice that some of the lockers had just big holes where the locks used to be because they had to break into lockers that wouldn't open before.

We loved the shows, we loved seeing Thea Vidalle do comedy. We loved MarQ the cruise directors energy!
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
On my 1st 2 cruises, I felt like royalty. Of course this was when ships were sailing at half capacity with full staffs. Fast forward to this one where they are short on staff due to still trying to solve visa issues or whatever, and sailing full capacity because all CDC guidelines have been dropped and all the vaccine and test requirements are lifted by the cruise lines. We felt like 3rd class citizens this time who hardly got attention and really feel that no special effort was made for us celebrating our anniversary when other couples did and we put the info in when we booked the cruise. Our steward was nice but often missed things. Bar staff ignored me and I already said what happened at the coffee shop.
Ship Quality

Obviously it wasn't too clean since so many people in my fb groups said they and most or all of their group came back sick.
Cabin / Stateroom

The makeup mirrors in both bathrooms are unusable. Some kind of residue is all over them that won't come off. Hair on the bathtub wall I asked to be cleaned, never got removed. Floor was not being vacuumed. Bath mats were forgotten in both bathrooms. He took a wet beach towel and didn't bring back a dry one, so I had to ask.
Ship tip
Go have lunch at Guy's Pig & Anchor on Embarkation day instead of the lido deck.
We will not get off the ship here again. We were off the ship for an hour and a half or less. Junkanoo beach was a mess of large rocks, seaweed with trash in it, trash, and stinky ocean water. It stunk everywhere. The distillery is 2 blocks up, but in the hood so be careful if you walk. That tour is short and the samples you buy are all 80 proof. The vendors are pushy and think that 2 for $5 translates into 3 for $10. The vendors will follow and pester you to visit their shops. Men are disrespectful. Overall it was a dirty, smelly, and disgusting place.
