Disappointed that covid protocols were not at all in place once on the ship. Long crowded lines in all buffets, packed auditorium and then tender boats were so jam packed and you were forced to sit by strangers for a long period of time. I now have covid
Carnival Dream Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Fun at times, staff were great, covid protocols on ship did not exist. Food was not as vegetarian/vegan friendly as promised. Everyone else in my group could grab a burger or mexican but I always had to go elsewhere by myself in long crowded lines for food that still wasnt even great.
Embarkation

Loading the ship was so chaotic and unpleasant experience.

Food and Dining

Your website claimed to be vegetarian/vegan friendly. I did fine at dinner (same Indian every night but it was decent) but breakfast and lunch were so disappointing. Hamburger joint had no veggie burgers, Couldnt eat at mexican spot either.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
With no covid protocols in place we didnt get to enjoy all the activities we normally would have. Just too many people in tight, unvented spaces. Did not use spa, pools, fitness center or dance club.
Entertainment

Performances were decent but having to be jammed pack with others during height of covid made the experience unpleasant and now I have covid even when trying to avoid people best i could
Service and Staff

Room steward and waiters were great. We often didnt get the items we ordered from the menu, even after asking more than once, but they were very nice and trying. They were the better part of the cruise.

Something was wrong with our door. We often had hard time getting inside it. On the last day, employees tried to help us and no lunch so they had to call in an engineer that finally brought a machine and fixed it. Room itself was good.
What a zoo and so unorganized. Staff were yelling at people. I felt like we were all trying to leave the titanic. Again, very bad situation for covid, as all forced in small waiting area by elevators for 20-25 minutes then got to the long lines and waiting part
The Covid protocols on Carnival have been relaxed just as other cruise lines have. However, even as recently as this past March, they reinstated mask at all indoor venues if the feel the need. Hope you are feeling better! Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
Covid is everywhere. If you got off the ship it’s just as likely you got it there. We’ve just recovered from a second time and haven’t recently cruised. Cruise lines have lost billions and can’t continue to sail at a loss just because you are afraid to sit next to someone.
