Since I do the cruise with Pentecostal Praise at Sea, I truly enjoy my cruise. I get to hear great gospel music and we have a great time of worship. The ladies I shared a cabin with were first time cruisers and are excited to go again. The Dream is huge but not crowded. Yes we had to wait on elevators once in awhile, but never too long. If so, I got them to take the stairs. The girls found good bargain in the fun shop also. Room service was great. MDR food was good but it’s a cruise ship, not a fine dining restaurant. All in all, a great cruise.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I heard embarkation was smooth in Galveston but not this time. Ship was delayed in loading for 2 hours due to fog thus we had long lines. I may have to get FTF next time since I usually sail out of Galveston.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Guy’s burgers were the best. I ordered pizza and it was way too greasy. The omelets in the lido deck and MDR are great. I had steak and eggs along with the 7 layer chocolate cake for brunch on sea day. The steak was tender and the cake was delicious. Most meals were lukewarm but that didn’t stop us from eating. Room service PBJ were not as good as in the past, but the BLT was great. I only ate the buffet for breakfast when I needed to be somewhere early. Buffet food is not my style. I like to be waited on and enjoy the meal.
Onboard Activities

Each year Sonshine Productions does a private event called Pentecostal Praise at Sea. I only go to these concerts with great apostolic music. The artist write and sing their songs, plus other gospel hymns. So I can’t tell you about the other venues. We did play putt putt golf and it was fun.

Getting a little carpet worn but I didn’t see anything else bad.
Cabin / Stateroom

A little carpet worn out but we did fine in this cabin. 3 of us ladies and we had plenty of room. I would not recommend this room if you have problems climbing. Sometimes it was hard to get down from the top bunk. We had plenty of closet space. There was a stool to sit on and the bunks when we wanted to sit and talk. But we were seldom in our room.
We did the Dzlibchatan Mayan Ruin tour with Merida. The tour guide Ricardo and driver Mr Carlos were great. Ricardo made the trip very interesting. In Merida, I bought my hubby an original Panama hat. I actually climb one of the ruins but it was hard getting down.
My 4th time to go to Cozumel. We took the underwater sea and land cruise by Carnival. It was very interesting. While we didn’t do the tequila making part, we did find a good taco stand. Next trip, I may do another excursion. Unless there is an excursion I just get off, look at the shops, and return to ship. I’m not a shopper.
We had a couple of hours due to fog so we roamed the Strand. I have lived near Galveston all my life so I do enjoy this town. Best Mexican food - Original Mexican Cafe.
This was the best ever. We put our luggage outside the night before. The day of disembarkation we sat with friends until our number was called. The line went fast.
