You need to do something about the smoking areas on the ship. There is no way for those who don't care to breath in second hand smoke to avoid it. Smoking guests do not follow the "no smoking" policies as people were smoking off their balcony near our room.

Christian in the Scarlett Dining Room was excellent. The food overall was good as some meals were not very good.

The pools were overcrowded with kids. The pool slides were fun for a short time.

The shows in the Encore Theater were overall good. Dave in the Piano Bar was terrible.

Ship Quality

It was impossible to avoid the smokers. The casino area was open to the entire 5 level so you could smell it everywhere. There were no signs letting you know you were about to enter a smoking area so you had no idea until you were breathing it in.
Debarkation was good. The port and shops were excellent. The return process to the ship was chaotic due to the security screening process location. This forced people to remain on the water taxi until those in front went through the screening process. This needs to be made more efficient. The cave tubing excursion was an awesome experience!
Next time report the balcony and out of bounds smokers. Carnival fines them $500 per incident and if they persist the whole cabin will be disembarked at the next port.
Should travel on carnival Australia no smoking in doors at all only designated areas deck 9 and 10
I would of been straight on the phone to customer service and had them up to your cabin to stop the smoking the penalty is high but some people still don’t care as i don’t when I get it stopped .....
