this cruise was wonderful with exciting ports. we had been to cozumel numerous times so we didn't do much there but walk from our port to a lighthouse. each time we have visited cozumel we have done something different and have enjoyed the various aspects of the city.

this was a typical cabin with a balcony. idk what the room size was but it is the usual size. there was plenty of room for 2 people.
this is probably our favorite port! took a taxi to downtown area and then walked back to the port. Which is about 4 miles but for half that distance there was lots to look at and enjoy.
we went outside the area close to the port. the hondurans were kind and pleasant and did what they could to make our time at a beach a nice one. lots of people selling things on the beach and that can be overwhelming. at one point a security guard had to intervene and ask a lady to leave me alone. but i would go back there again! it was a really nice place to visit and relax.
There are always private touring options when you get off the boat. Their prices are lower than Carnival and we have never felt unsafe when doing this. At any port. But there are also private touring options, with lower prices, if you walk out of the souvenir shop area and walk left. Don't write off the excursions offered by groups off the ship. They are usually cheaper and we have always been with other tourists on the excursion. so it is a good size group.
we did a private driving tour here. walked out of the souvenir area and there were tons of private tourist options. keep walking further away from the souvenir area and you will get cheaper prices for things. we wanted to just take a tour around the city so we hooked up with Mark and he drove us around, pointing out numerous things as we drove.
