Review summary
Come silly & bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses. Nice clothes for pretty pix. Eat a little of everything, ice cream everyday, make the shows & catch the comedians. Schedule time for nothing..for sanity. Soak in a hot tub & stare at the stars. Be aware of the handicapped trying to do the same as you.Embarkation

The Gathering Lido Restaurant
The variety was good & the service too. The dessert bar was my favorite, always changing with a constant fresh fruit bar. Plenty of choices, so try different foods & often. The ship is big enough you will walk it off. TIP-fill a cup halfway with ice cream & then fill with coffee. THE BEST!
Scarlet Dining Room
The staff were on it, hard workers. the food was hit & miss. The hits were often though. Try anything & everything because you can find a new favorite or just mark something off of the foodie checklist.
Carnival Deli
Servings are huge, so share & ditch the fries because you will want room for dessert.
Dream Bar
DWI-a fun bar tender that made me laugh & helped me relax. Bar is located under the live music stage & serves as a central meeting point. Try the tiramisu drink.
Pizzeria del Capitano
24 HR pizza came in handy at movie time & late night snack to help soak up the drinks. Kids should try it with a side of ice cream.
Sam's Piano Bar
Entertaining, the pianist sang & played his heart out. But it wasnt pretty when he invited people from the crowd to sing with him on stage.
Mongolian Wok
The wok chefs are always hard at work. But it's nothing special with a side of long wait.

Pricey, but the pixel package was worth it. I have memories of my honeymoon that captured our happiness. So whatever the reason, capture the moment with the very helpful & experienced staff.
Serenity Adult Only Retreat
Grab breakfast & a cabana chair for a quiet moment with the sea. At night enjoy the bubbles & the stars in the hot tub till midnight.
Whirlpool Spa
There are many of whirlpools(hot tubs) enjoy at least one. We did about 3 times in 7 days cuz we were on vaca!
Guest Services / Excursions Desk
Staff very willing to help you with any concerns or guidance. Be sure to pick up your free deck of cards with the carnival logo
The Fun Shops
In the fun shops were cool knick knacks, but we have many. So if you do too, line up in front when they have the alcohol tasting because you get shots as you wait in line & then about 5 more. The store does carry whatever you might need for excursions or for gifts.
Entertainment
Dream Lobby
When having questions that need answering or an excursion concern, there are always employees willing to help. I had up to 6 once & walked away content. The big lounge couches also help get in that "I am on vacation" feel.
Seaside Theater
Huge screen with outdoor seating playing movies that just made redbox. Grab a beach towel as a blanket, a pizza, ice cream or sodium-free popcorn(yuk)...layback
The Lanai
For a life size game of chess or checkers with the ocean view as your neighbor. Even a hot tub in the middle of the day. This was a low-crowd area. Pleasant & spacious
Encore! Main Lounge
show up on time because it fills up. I enjoyed sitting up top for a clear view. Motown & the 80's shows were most entertaining because thats what I grew up on. Live Hasbro was cool too.

I would often start here listening to live music & a drink so I could relax before heading to the crowded areas & also great for taking pix before dinner
