Review summary

Overall our experience on the port of call was great although very disappointed with the billing. I was double charged gratuity and whats sad is other people pay it and dont know. That is WRONG!! The bubbles package was a joke although we saved money we where not allowed to keep the can closed just to take to room. When it says endless it should mean endless. My husband was sea sick and the only thing that helped was the coke. We bought the 6 pack at the start but couldnt purchase anymore after the cruise started. Pictures where overpriced!! They threw alot of pics away. If they would have lowered the price people could afford and they wouldnt waste all those pics!! Im home now and have reviewed my statement and more was charged to my account. Watch Your Bill!!!!

The Hamburger restaurant was amazing. Although, we where disappointed about the food in dining room. Small portions we had to order two to get a full meal. The waiting staff was great.

We loved sitting out on the deck watching the activities on the Lido deck. There where so many activities that we wanted to do but could because of another activity

We had a couple of outstanding waiters! DEDY on the Lido deck was #1. David was great. Our dining staff was andre and Jose. Very good!!!!

It was clean although the sewage smell was terrible!!!!!! We smelled it everyday. Very strong at times. Couple of night hard to sleep with such a strong smell

I'm using cash this go around. Last year we used a debit card and I thought they were charging everything as we went. When they were actually holding money on our card than when we got off the ship, they took the full amount, and than we had to wait to get refunded the pre authorization holds. I was so pissed bc I thought I had a certain amount of money than when i looked again it was gone and I had to wait until preauthorization holds were released. Never again!

This is exactly why I use cash on my s&s card...I've never had a problem and I always check my charges. I'm sorry you had to deal with that!

It is important to keep an eye on your charges, not only on Carnival but all cruises. Our last cruise was on NCL Escape, which was amazing, however, we were charged numerous times for drinks we did not have. As far as the pictures go, I can't agree more! Charge less and sell more!!!

I think they keep the can stop people don't leave them laying around when they are done. Easier for an empty can to blow off into the ocean than the heavier glass they serve it in

So you know, if there is a next time, you can purchase cans of soda in Port and bring it back on the ship. If you mean they open the can & pour it over ice, then keep the rest of the can? Yeah, i don't get why they do that. Not that Ginger Ale is that much healthier, but maybe that next time for the sea sickness, along with some ginger chews.
