Carnival Dream Vacation

Sail Date: March 05, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Understated design. The sides of the Scarlet dining room were cramped and unable to see the entertainment. Table for 3 couples should not be rectangular as the last couple to arrive for dinner could not sit together. We did back to back and the Crimson Dining room was less crowded but were placed at a table for 2 where one of us was looking at the outside wall and unable to turn the table around.

Pros: Comedy Club, Serenity Adults Only areas, beautiful ship

Cons: Buffet lines- perhaps it could be set up differently, balcony was too small for 2 chairs and an end table

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Food and Dining
Ship Quality
balcony too small for the furniture- unable to open the cabin door without moving everything
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom were the same as on other Carnival ships but not as dark.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Loved the Punchliner club and the variety of lounges on this ship.
Cozumel, Mexico
Belize City, Belize
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Owned and built by the cruise industry, expensive. Water the same price as onboard
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Don't Miss: Mahogeney Beach
