It was our first cruise. We loved it. There were 8 of us- not one complaint. There was so much to do on board. The wait staff and stewards were phenomenal.

We just got off of... by MStezenko

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

We just got off of the Conquest yesterday. I agree with one of the other reviewers in saying we chose to have a good time because that’s what we paid for. We were a part of a group of eight and had a great time. Our room was clean and our steward Made was very nice and attentive. Our dining room servers were very nice as well. I did recognize some changes to the menu from the last time we cruised on Carnival but nothing to make us not cruise on Carnival again. We decided to eat breakfast in the dining room as opposed to the Lido buffet and that was an excellent experience as well. Entertainment was great. Can’t wait until our next cruise.

Just got off the Conquest.... by Jesjean84

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

Just got off the Conquest. I'll start by saying we had a great time because that's what we chose to do when we decided to go on a cruise. I'm sure if I was trying to make everyones life hell, I could have found reasons to bit*h but wasnt about to make a vacation that we paid for a b*tch fest. With that being said Anak (our room stw) was great. Helped in any way he could. All the food was great. We had room 7447 which was in the AFT. The balcony was big. However, we felt more shaking then I would have liked to feel. Anytime we pulled into a port, it was pretty bad. Especially this morning pulling into Fort. Lauderdale at 5am in the morning. I probably wouldn't get a room on the back again. They had plenty of pools and jacuzzis. The adult areas were pretty awesome. The kids seemed to have a ton of stuff to do. The entertainment was great. We would have liked for them to have a comedy show earlier then 11pm but we still had plenty to do. The staff was nice and helpful. We liked the ship overall. The reason I started off by saying we chose to have a good time is because there were alot of complainers on the ship. We heard drunk people constantly bitc*ing and about the stupidest stuff. My husband and I like to talk to people. So after talking and listening to them, most of their issues were their own stupidity. Half Mood Cay was beautiful. We have been to Nassau twice and the first time we had some people hassling us but wasn't that bad. This trip it was horrible. You couldn't walk anywhere without getting someone in your face. The Atlantis was absolutely beautiful. The public beach next to the Atlantis was more hassling. You couldn't even walk on the beach without having 17 people following you. We love shopping and loved the straw market the first time we went but couldn't find it this time. I'm not sure if it was closed down or what but next time, we may stay on the boat in Nassau. I would recommend the ship but just stay away from the complainers and enjoy the ride.

Great, relaxing vacation. Plenty to do if you wanted, and also enjoyed time on the balcony. Miniature floating city, be as busy as you want to be. Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk were great.

We had a fabulous time on our cruise, and got engaged on the first day! It was a truly unforgettable experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we particularly had a great time with Ferdinand, Olaksandar, Tinashe, and Romancito from the casino.

Half moon cay..... best private island EVER by patmay37

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The wait staff was fabulous in dining room. Only complaint, looked like he had too many tables so getting food was slow. Dinner took an hour and a half every night. The shows were mediocre at best. The comedians were hysterical. Loved Half moon cay... beach was beautiful, no rocks. Grand Turk was nice but after I left I was bitten up on legs and stomach... sand fleas?? There were tons of poor dogs sleeping under the lounge chairs so who knows. Margaritaville was nice .pool was perfect to relax in!!

Just got off the Conquest... by ellebcruisin

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

Just got off the Conquest Thursday. Had a blast! Here's my long review...tried to think of things I kept seeing being asked about. Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk. Took an UberXL from the Ft. Lauderdale airport to the Publix, driver waited while I ran in to get wine, soda, and chocolate. Then went to the terminal. We had our own umbrella stroller for the baby. No car seat. Nassau: walked around, explored the island. Caught a taxi to a hole in the wall for fried conch, conch fritters, and rum punch. It was okay. My sister and their crew did the Food and History bus tour and enjoyed it. HMC: My favorite!! Was a beach day for us. Softest sand, most beautiful, clear water. Some fish but not bothersome. Deep enough for all to enjoy, including kids. It spoiled us. Lunch was on Carnival. You had to buy drinks. Lots if water activities available. There were excursions but I didn't see the point at this port. The Tender process was a little unorganized for FTTF but it all worked out. Grand Turk: Since HMC spoiled us, I was not a fan of this beach. Lots of rocks and seaweed. I know, I know...it's a beach. But luckily for me, Margaritaville was 2 feet away so we went there and played in the pool. All was free unless you wanted premium umbrellas but most umbrellas were free. *Mya daughter and I did walk down to Jack's Shack but it was kind of early. Didn't see Topher or Calypso, it was kind of dead. So we walked back to our group.* Cabins: I was in Cabin 2319, which connected with Cabin 2323, both ocean views. It was me, my husband, and our 1 year old. We made our 2 twins into a king. Room was bigger than I expected. My mom, my 8 year old son, and 12 year old daughter were in the 2nd room. They had 2 twins and used the sofa as a 3rd bed. 2 rooms down ( #2309) was my sister, her husband, and their 17 and 12 year old daughters. They made the twins into a king and had the bunk beds. Lots of drawers and cabinet space, 3 closets, and yes, 1 outlet. *Make sure your power strip plug is not in the middle or it will be useless because the outlet is in a corner. My luck!* These were midshipmen cabins. Close to elevators. 1 deck down from our dining room which was great! Laundry room was a few rooms down. 1 iron (free). A few washers and dryers ($3 each). Soap and fabric softeners to buy also. Our air worked great! My mom's room was freezing but maintenance came and saw that something had gotten jammed, preventing it from being adjusted. They fixed it. Was fine after that. Our room steward didn't do anything spectacular but I had no complaints. Kids Camp: All the kids LOVED the camps. The 8 year old was always back by 10pm because we weren't paying extra but the teens didn't come back until 1am when their clubs closed. Lol. I didn't realize it would be like that but it worked out. My mom kept the 1 year old when us other adults went out. We ended up making breakfast, dinner, and lunch mandatory to meet up with the family. Lol. Entertainment: JT was our cruise director but he did say that Matt was coming back for the next cruise. We loved Lip Sync Battle and the Marriage contest! Mom won $500 at the casino and my son won $25 on the pull tabs at Bingo. Black Panther played twice because it was absolutely packed! A Wrinkle in Time was another big hit. Popcorn had no seasoning! Dining: Guy's Burgers was AWESOME! My niece loved the breakfast burritos at Blue Iguanas. Lido deck dinner was horrible. We mostly dined in the MDR, which was fantaastic every night! Glen, Edi, and Ricky were the best! We still ended up eating pizza almost every night as a late snack. Strawberry cheesecake from the coffee shop was DA BEST!! We brought on 1 bottle of wine and 3 12 packs of soda. Ordered 3 cases of water for the room. Left with a case of soda left and just a few bottles of water. We would forget to bring our sodas to lunch and dinner but the lemonade was great! Loved the ice on the Lido deck. Another couple who was with our crew loved The Steakhouse. They also had booked the Chef's Table but missed it because they had the times mixed up. Carnival did try to contact them but couldn't so they didn't get their money back. But all was well. Also, with our baby, we had to keep getting milk. Everyone was accommodating, even late at night. Al we had to do was ask or order room service. Our refrigerator kept it just cold enough. Can't think of much else. Oh...Faster To The Fun (FTTF) was totally worth it for us!!

We just sailed on the... by gmabey

We just sailed on the Conquest. We had a wonderful time. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our servers Joel, Fransico and Ivy in the Monet Dining Room were top notch! Bartender Vera in the Alcemy Bar made the best drinks. Our steward Made was very polite. The ship was very clean and we did not experience any issues while on board.

This was my second cruise... by tropicalsunset

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

This was my second cruise on the Conquest (and second cruise ever) and it was even better than the first time! Much fresher after the drydock. The staff were much friendlier than I remember them being last year and I loved the food. The events are great (especially during the evening) and I never get bored. Minus one star for the overcrowding on the pool deck and for the ship layout being slightly confusing, but this ship has hooked me on cruising and I hope to sail on her again in the future.

Summer Vacay18 by nervouswreckaka

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

This was the longest cruise I have ever taken. Food was okay, but not the best. Room was kept clean, for the most part. My son and I ended up with bites from something in our beds. We had the room steward spray, but it did not help. Thank God for hot showers!!

First time cruising and overall... by KimAriTori

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

First time cruising and overall a great experience. The crew was amazing and went out of their way to entertain my 3yo, especially during dinner service. The ship was clean and food was great. Really enjoyed Guys Burgers! We enjoyed the Dive-in movies in the evenings and a couple of the shows. The lip sync battle was the best! Camp Ocean was also great for my kiddos....they had fun and mom got a much needed break lol. The pools are a bit small and were crowded so we didn't bother getting in and simply enjoyed beach time at the ports instead. I see why cruising is addictive! The Conquest exceeded our expectations.

I had a great time on Carnival Conquest ship and will definitely embark again. The food was great and so was the staff. Although I didnt win any money in the casino, my trip was a wonderful experience. Especially since this was my first cruise and didn't know what to expect. Great job Carnival.

Cabin: 8264 Had a great cruise... by eazybreezy

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest

Cabin: 8264 Had a great cruise with family and met great people. The staff was outstanding. We had FTTF so getting on and off ship was no problem but seemed non problematic for those without it. Lots to do on the boat. However I really did not enjoy the food on this cruise. Of course Guy’s & the Pizza Pirate were great but the selections on the buffet & main dining room didn’t do it for me and the long lines at breakfast were just awful. Lobster Shack was awesome but only ate their once due to the up charge.
