Review summary

Just got off the Conquest. I'll start by saying we had a great time because that's what we chose to do when we decided to go on a cruise. I'm sure if I was trying to make everyones life hell, I could have found reasons to bit*h but wasnt about to make a vacation that we paid for a b*tch fest. With that being said Anak (our room stw) was great. Helped in any way he could. All the food was great. We had room 7447 which was in the AFT. The balcony was big. However, we felt more shaking then I would have liked to feel. Anytime we pulled into a port, it was pretty bad. Especially this morning pulling into Fort. Lauderdale at 5am in the morning. I probably wouldn't get a room on the back again. They had plenty of pools and jacuzzis. The adult areas were pretty awesome. The kids seemed to have a ton of stuff to do. The entertainment was great. We would have liked for them to have a comedy show earlier then 11pm but we still had plenty to do. The staff was nice and helpful. We liked the ship overall. The reason I started off by saying we chose to have a good time is because there were alot of complainers on the ship. We heard drunk people constantly bitc*ing and about the stupidest stuff. My husband and I like to talk to people. So after talking and listening to them, most of their issues were their own stupidity. Half Mood Cay was beautiful. We have been to Nassau twice and the first time we had some people hassling us but wasn't that bad. This trip it was horrible. You couldn't walk anywhere without getting someone in your face. The Atlantis was absolutely beautiful. The public beach next to the Atlantis was more hassling. You couldn't even walk on the beach without having 17 people following you. We love shopping and loved the straw market the first time we went but couldn't find it this time. I'm not sure if it was closed down or what but next time, we may stay on the boat in Nassau. I would recommend the ship but just stay away from the complainers and enjoy the ride.

Went on the west Indies itinerary last week..antiqua, Barbados, st kitts, Lucia and martin. I was so used to being harassed in Nassau I was expecting more of the same. WOW it was the opposite. Most wonderful, friendly, helpful and joy filled people at all those islands. I encourage you all to go. Sad that Nassau let their shopping area get so tense.

I've gotten off ship a few times in Nassau, but I stay on ship now. Nassau isn't one of my favorite stops.

@bennymbd, we were on in April and didn’t try the deli but it looked great, yes made to order. I found this ship to have a great variety of food options, both included and for a fee. The aft pool is still adults only which is great, there are more pools and hot tubs than any other ship I’ve been on.

Thank you for the review. My son and friend are going on Conquest for the first time August 30th it will be my 18th cruise with Carnival. Should be a great time for us my friend is celebrating his 40th birthday. One question. How was the deli? Do they still make the sandwich to order?
