Review summary

This was the craziest cruise ever. There was storm after storm, 3 major medical emergencies, and a port cancelation for our safety. Carnival handled all of this amazingly though. My main concern was the food and mold in our stateroom bathroom.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
I didn't go to a specialty restaurant but the dinning room food and the buffet were subpar at best.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I really enjoyed the shows and deck parties.

Children's Programs

Didn't bring kids.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward was great and so was the entertainment director but the rest of the staff was hit or miss.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship felt old and grungy and our bathroom had a lot of mold growing in it.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was a good size and the beds were comfortable but it wasn't the cleanest room I have had and also felt outdated.

Ship tip

Splurge for the upgraded dining otherwise you will be very disappointed in the food taste and quality.

Disembarkation

It was a ship show. Took 2 hrs to go from ship to customs and another 2 hrs to get through customs.
