Review summary

Absolutely a great time. I would recommend this cruise to anyone.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was absolutely smooth. We actually arrived ahead of our scheduled appointment and were processed with any delays.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining room food was great. Lido buffet was below previous experience.

Renoir Restaurant

5 out of 5

Food and service was absolutely great. A huge part of our great experience in the dining room was our wait staff. We had the our time dining option but we requested the same servers nightly because we enjoyed them so much. If you get the opportunity to cruise on the Conquest, Richard, Edgar (Eddie) and (John) Wayan are the absolute best.

Service and Staff

side fro the great dining room staff, our Steward, Owen, was phenomenal.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
For being an older ship, she is in great shape. Just a few minor cosmetic things need to be addressed. Room decor could be updated but all in all a great ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Decor could be updated. Always clean.

Ports of call

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Always love Grand Turk. A great beach day and food and drinks at Jack’s Shack.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Our favorite port. Took a tour of the island, which we were not initially going to do, but were so glad we did. Our tour guide, “Free” Willey was great and extremely knowledgeable of the island and it’s history. Ended the day walking the streets of Old San Juan and having a bite to eat at a little place Calle La Danzea, near where the flag hangs above the street. Great food.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Our most anticipated port left us feeling a little let down. Arriving into port, the island looks beautiful, but once touring, the island just didn’t do it for us.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
Port was better than I anticipated. Food and drinks at the Coco Cana were great.
