We loved almost everything about this experience. Can’t wait to come back and bring our kids!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We weren’t really sure what do do or where to go since it was our first time, but once we figured that out, everything was smooth!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the food, especially Guy’s Burgers. We ate there at least once a day! The Sweet Spot was outlet jam, and the breakfast burritos were on point!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We loved the movies under the stars (bring a blanket or towel to cover up! It gets chilly!), pretty much everything Mat put on, and Bingo is my new fave!! Jackpot Jake is fun!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We do major productions and my husband is a sound guy, so we were slightly unimpressed with the sound quality and some of the singers. The dancing was good, and we loved the little jazz band in the main floor 3 who sang/played at night. That guy and girl were really good! The stringed instrument girls were good, as well as the other sax, trumpet, and trombone band.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had excellent service!! Everyone was super happy to be there and took great care of us. We especially loved our room cleaning crew, who knew us by name from the first night. Pamungkas, or Kas for short. Our waiters in the dining room each night were also fabulous. Budi, Eko, and Made. The two main ones were the ones we saw most and the one guy cracked us up. He’d dance up to us with the drink menu and try to get us to order every night, even though we passed every night. They also never made us feel bad about ordering two desserts or two appetizers, saying, “You’re on vacation! Eat what you want!” They were great!
Ship Quality

Yes! Everything was immaculate!
Cabin / Stateroom

1322 was our cabin number. It was bigger than I expected. They kept it very well cleaned and maintained. The beds and pillows were SUPER comfy!
Ship tip
Go to the shows with Mat. He’s hilarious! Try new things, and enjoy as much as you can on the ship!
There were people every ten feet trying to get us to come in their shops or buy something or braid my hair or massage my shoulders, and they were very pushy. Wouldn’t take no for an answer. We went back to the ship early.
Love love LOVE this port!! I wish more ships went here! Super laid back, took a tour taxi around the island and saw some AMAZING views, had about an hour and a half at the beach, then brought us right back to the port. The guy we were with even drove us to the building to get our passport stamped. We gave him a good tip. HIGHLY recommend!!
We loved PR! We walked over to the fort on the other side of the city and walked the grounds until it was open then did a walk inside. Got some amazing shots!! If you have a US National Parks Passport, take it and have it stamped here!! If you forget, you can buy stickers in the gift shop to stamp and stick in your passport.
Loved Grand Turk! There were people offering chairs and braids here, too; but they weren’t so pushy. If you said no, they left you alone. We did an excursion through Crystal Seas Adventures. It was a snorkeling excursion. The captain and first mate took us out to the coral reef then to the drop off, and both were AMAZING. It wasn’t one of those massive tours, there were only 8 of us on the boat, plus the 2 man crew. The captain was McKenzie and the first mate was Brian. They were great!!
We just got back from our cruise on Carnival Conquest. Have been on 8 other cruises and loved them all do weren’t sure what to expect from The Conquest. We loved it. Will be doing a review soon.
