Review summary
The check in process went smoothly.
Once on the boat, the staterooms were adequate - some need for updating.
The food at the buffet was as expected.
Enjoyed the Steak House experience that you paid an extra $35 per person - nice meal & great service.
Enjoyed Guy's Burger Joint - great burgers and many options.
Asked for recommentdations on tours on two ocassions with no input from the Tours Desk - just took a shot in the dark with the tours - Bone Fishing in Costa Maya was nice/good tour.
The bar service in the casino was extremely slow on most ocassions and we paid the $49 each per day for the drink package - with tip of 15% added on top of the $49 per day per person.
There were at least two ocassions where the guest services staff were not helpful. We ended up depending on the kiosk instead of a live person - very sad.
Boat could not get into Hondurus and credited the port rax of $14 per person - nothing else - we were forcred to be on the boat an extra day - thank goodness we had purchased the drink package or Carnival would have made a mint that day, as I am sure they did off of most of the passengers.
Worst cruise ever and to make it worse, Carnival as not responded to my survey that I completed with them, so poor customer service on top of a bad experience.
