Review summary
This was our first cruise. We chose New Orleans departure so we could drive down. When we arrived to embark there was a delay on ship so lines were long. That had it's own issues since it was so hot outside, the biggest issue was the port building had NO WATER so there were NO BATHROOMS for several hours. Once onboard I have to say every crew member we encountered was very pleasant, everyone always spoke and had a smile. Our cabin attendant was awesome. The beds on this ship were terrible- hard as rocks, but when asked they brought a feather topper up for us. We enjoyed the food. The steakhouse dinner was very, very good. We were not too impressed with entertainment there but went for rest in the sun anyway. Disembarkment was a breeze as we chose self service- we were off the boat by 8:15. Overall, the service ( on board) was excellent. Accommodations need improvement. Food very good. Entertainment mediocre.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Lido deck breakfast lines long, hard to find seating at times but foot was great. Steakhouse dinner excellent. All the staff go above and beyond to give great service and attention.
