The ship was magnificent! The cabins, common areas, dining room and pool area were beautiful. The staff and crew were friendly, helpful and caring. Overall, this was the best vacation we've ever had!

It would depend what a person wanted. we chose the ship because it was going places we wanted to o not the ship it self

action packed cruise with exotic destinations

The ship itself was great. The day to day people on the ship were great and did their best to provide a great experience. The second line people seemed as though they were tired with their jobs. 90% of them almost seemed to have an attitude when dealing with them and it felt like they could not wait to get off the ship. Numerous members told myself and my wife that their contract was up and they could not wait to back to Barcelona to go home.

A great ship - good entertainment, great excursions, great food and great staff.

I thought that the ship itself was great! It's a very nice ship. I enjoyed having a balcony room.

Very nice and clean. Was afraid of embarkation/debarkation procedures in such a large vessel, but was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency in handling these.

This was my second cruise with Carnival. Last summer i did Western Mideterranian cruise with Carnival Magic. I liked both cruises a lot. It is very inexpensive and fun way to see Europe. The new ship was great. The crew did a great job to make everyone comfortable. The food was OK but not bad.

a very clean ship!, not real fancy but well appointed

ship was emaculate. so clean. Staff was unbelieveable!!! everything was so absolutly wonderful. Our wait staff treated us like family as we did them!!!the ship is beautiful so much to do and see. the ports of call were breathtaking. croatia is such a hidden secret it was picture perfect!!!!i cant say anything bad about this trip. we went with my mom n her fiance and they loved it as well!!!!

The ship was asthetically pleasing, clean, and well staffed. Having suffered a medical emergency whil aboard, the medical staff saved my life. After being transported to the hospital, an interpreter was provided for translation with medical hospital staff and for reassurance to my family.

Amazing ship ...

We have never taken such a nice cruise. I was worried 12 days might be too long to be on a ship but there was so much to do and many great shows that we enjoyed ourselves right up to the end.

We enjoyed the cruise the excurisions were nice but I think I will try to do some of this on my own next time. We took the scentic tour of Venice and that was a mistake we were stuck on a boat for hours with the same view we saw on the way in. Already one on the ship was really helpful and the food was yummy.

The most impressive thing about the ship was it's organization, the overall friendliness of the crew-their helpfulness in all things, and the amount of diverse entertainment.

FOOD: Dull knives cut jello but little else; Fish, pork, chicken and beef were all overcooked; Whole wheat breads were not available; There were no tables for two by the windows in the Sapphire dining room; Pastries, bagels and croissants, rolls, breads seemed like they were commercially bulk packaged weeks ago; Offer late night lighter fare such as omelets and soup; Provide blueberries and strawberries and smoked salmon for breakfast in The Marketplace; Chateaubriand and other steaks are not meant to be sliced 1/4\" thick and nuked separately. Ugh.; Train wait staff to know the difference between chicken leg and duck consomme - know what the customer ordered and double check what kitchen delivered before placing on table; OTHER: Explain why we left an hour early from Rome and other unexplained arrival and departure changes; Turn on WiFi more frequently and for longer periods; Extend wireless to cabins; Salerno - better organized exit for customers with and without excursion, more knowledgeable staff re transportation to Capri - conflicting directions; Be nicer and more helpful to guests who want to make their own port adventure and not take an excursion; Venice - Make alternative transportation and direction arrangements when People Mover is down; Taormina - provide walking maps; Clinic should know what otc medications and supplies the gift shop carries

Because the ship is new, everything is very clean.

We loved the port of calls that is why we chose this cruise but they were no breaks until 5 days. Although we enjoyed the excursions but it was very exhausting. We also expected that the new ship to be different or a better, for example, elegant styles and layout, serving a different food since we are in the Mediterranean. Actually, the lobby and theater did not impressed us at all, color and decorations.

We loved this ship. Everything very clean and organized. There was hand sanitizer everywhere you went. They even had paper to open the bathroom doors so you did not have to touch the door handles. Food was very good and fresh. Specialty restaurants were first class and service overall very good.
