Review summary

We are frequent cruises our journey on the Escape was our 99th. And that not all on NCL we spread out to all the lines have status un a bunch. We find good out was any of the bad on every trip, so my advice is stay positive and you’ll have a great trip. Remember if you were at home is everything always perfect think about it, is your meals always awesome do you have your bed made all the time etc. make the best you can because life is to short. 🛳🚢. Happy cruising 🤙🏼🍾🥂

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was extremely easy about 30 minutes from parking garage to walking onto the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Over all very good, even on the private island, but have to give the thumbs up all around.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The seas a bit rough so hats off to the staff for keeping things going.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Think overall pretty good, wish there was more venues that had live music around the ship.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall good understanding that they are a little understaffed, only area we had issues was at O’Sheehans our order never seemed to get to the cooks . Three times maybe a little unlucky get it ? Irish joke 🍀

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean , for a little older ship. Couple areas that could get more attention.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Needs a little refresher a few frayed edges, but very comfortable.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Been there many times it’s a wonderful island, still recovering from storms though.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Went to amber cove not a big deal. Been there done that type of port.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We are biased when it comes to this island, we decided to make this our home away from home about 18 years ago so when we stop on a ship we have a stream line adventure. To our favorite shops to say hello and then off to Tap and Still for the best burger and fries on the island. Do with this info as you will travel well fellow cruisers 🚢🛳🚢🛳

Not long but could be better, the snake line gets old. Two different areas for luggage a joke, and if you can’t pick up your suitcase and carry ten feet stop doing self assist, it’s not for you !!! Sorry if that offends anyone just watch next time it slowed the hole thing, and stay away from gangways until called it would be so much better for all.
