Had a blast but don't take this cruise line if you consider yourself a foodie. You will need to pay extra at specialty restaurants to get a good meal. If you're ok with just getting filled up then go ahead. Everything else about the ship is great.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Buffet wasn't bad, but you have to walk around on the food scavenger hunt which I don't like as your food will be cold by the time you sit down. Coffee usually terrible. The main dining room was very disappointing, uninspired menu. Moderno Brazilian Steakhouse was really fantastic. Don't waste your time on the appetizer buffet there.
Onboard Activities

We did aqua park, ropes course, game show, karaoke, dance classes. Everything was great.
Entertainment

Choir of man is amazing! Comedians were ok.
Children's Programs
No small kids.
Service and Staff

Almost everyone was very polite and helpful, but there was one or 2 that should probably move along to another career.

Ship tip
The demographic is older, lots of scooters, wheelchairs and walkers. If you're going and want to move quickly, this can be frustrating. Stick to the buffet if you are into food. Or, be willing to pay at the specialty restaurants for dinners.
We did the Damajagua waterfalls excursion. It was amazing, but it's not for the feeble. It is a very challenging hike but the guides are super fun and make it very fun.
Also great port, it's dirtier and more 3rd world than USVI though. We did the ziplining. Great way to overcome your fear. Take your own camera as they don't take pictures for you and won't tell you that you can take them yourself. The people working at the venue are pretty good, but there is a strong smell of Marijuana and if you can get past that and trust that everyone is going to keep you safe, go ahead.
Had my favorite day here! Spent a few hours at the beach, then swam with pigs! Absolutely loved the whole day. You will have to walk far too get a beach chair though or try to book one of the first tenders in the morning.
Thanks for the heads up, I go on a cruise not for the food ….more for the scenery and being on the water. Other have said the food was ok to awesome ….
