Excellent experience everything about the cruise from the staff, the entertainment and especially the dining experience was great can't wait to go again. Cruised last year on another cruise line and this cruise line was head and shoulders above.

From a previous cruise with Princess I remember it to be same quality level as Celebrity , but to my surprise their quality has dropped substantialy.Food all tastes the same.Some of the crew are still extraordinary,but they have a lot of them that do things in a very bad mood and disrespectful.

Because of the Port of Houston was closed the whole cruise got confusing. That was mother nature not Princess's doing but the long wait in the terminal offered no food or drinks which in the past would have been done. It seemed like the staff did their best but had to get coorporate to approve so they could not give answers. We did get a perdiem and am waiting to see if the hotel we could not get a credit for is going to be reimbersed.

A cruise is always a good time no matter what.

we love going out to sea and the service is always outstanding. very clean room and very professional crew. always something to do lots of activities, and great entertainment.we will be back to sail again with princess.

Express check took a long time and we had to stand outside in very cold weather for about one hour.  Once we were inside, things much better.

Dining room food was fairly good, the wait staff was excellent.  Desert menu did not have as many choices as in the past however.  One thing that was excellent was the Baked Alaska parade on the last night at sea.

Production shows were geard to a much younger crowd that was on this cruise.  Same old bump, grid, loud beat, stupid body movements, etc.

The Comic however has very good, and it was a clean show, something that is rare these days.  The magic show was also excellent and the

sulute to Johnny Cash Show was very good.

Our room at the front of Lido deck was ok, the shower was very small.  I did have trouble keeping the room cool at night when the weather warmed up.  Next time I will opt for a mini-suite.

Due to heavy fog, the ship was 5 hours late docking Sat. 12-14-13.  Fog is always a possibily along the Gulf Coast this time of year, so plan according.

We had some bad weather and we made due.  It was disappointing that Roatan, Honduras was cancelled and we missed Belize because of Windy conditions.  I was also disappointed in the Added port of Costa Maya as it was no more that a bunch of T-Shirt Shops. 

I had to call service 5 times for a toilet that would not flush. Some of the staff could not give us directions on how to get around on the ship.  The front desk messed up my credit card and I had to go to the services desk 3 times on the last night of the cruise to get it corrected and they still left my sea card locked so no more onboard purchases were allowed.

As much time as we had to spend on the ship, the variety of activities were limited and repeated, in different ways but never the less repeated.

All in all we had a good time because we were not at work and even though it was probably just a fluke of a bad time, I have a bad taste of Princess in my mouth and will probably not travel with them again unless they give me one so they can make things right.

We had a wonderful time!!!  Entertainment and food was great!!  Love the color scheme around the ship -- very clean.  We found it easy to get around instantly!  Only down side was the weather and adjusted itineray.  That wasn't their fault -- they kept us safe.  Would do it again in a heart beat.

We did not get to go to Belize or Honduras because of the weather.  I know they can tell what the weather is going to be like before they get there.  Why couldnt they take us some place else.

This was the first time we have cruised with Princess Cruise Lines. Everything was very good, from the food to all the employes we delt with. I would recommend this cruise line to everyone.

       We had never stayed in a suite before and our  room F303 was great!  The extra nice additions of a suite were especilly nice.  Oscar amd Tommy were wonderful in the Palm dining room.  I wish I had Oscar and Tommy at home.  No one could have been nicer or more attentive than Oscar and Tommy!

       We enjoyed all our tours to the different cities also.  I wished we had more time in each of the cities.

Overall, we enjoyed the ports, primarily due to our own efforts. Unfortunately encountering a Government Shutdown in the USA hampered our ability to see certain sites and partake in numerous excursions offered by Princess, such as, the Statue of Liberty, JFK library, various National Parks, etc. We really didn't get to see a lot of what we were planning to.  It's a shame The Princess Cruise Lines couldn't have had a backup plan with other innovative, alternate excursions, being the US government potential shutdown was in the news for some time prior to our cruise.

The quality of the food has diminished quite a bit, from our Alaskan Princess Cruise approximately 5 years ago.  I would rate today's quality average at best. However, the Crown Grill was excellent.  It was much better than the Dining Room main entrees.  Also, the hot dogs, hamburgers and pizza around the pool at times were much better than what was being served in the Horizon Buffet. Much of the service for breakfast &  lunch in the Horizon was average at best.

The cruise staff appeared to be understaffed and unavailable a lot in the Buffet.  Lastly, the initial muster drill with life jackets resulted in numerous people having to sit on the floor at our muster station.  I have never seen a room so crowded before on our 7 other cruises.  Not a very safe environment.  The disembarkation process, however, went exceptionally well.  

I would not recommend this cruise to anyone and am extremely disappointed with the Princess Cruise Line.  We have had much better cruises in the past with Princess and other Cruise Lines.

Very happy with the staff but not with the food.  Had three restaurants serving the same menu and only two speciality restaurants. Tried the anytime dining and was not able to be seated until after 7pm so ended up eating at 8pm. Had sit down lunch only once and the buffet was not that good. Coffe was too strong unless you bought it at the international cafe. Shows were good but short.

Enjoyed cruise. Cruise line could have described tours better especially Versailles. The tour was not medium, it was strenuous. It was very expensive and I think they should have had a better way to transport people through the gardens. Several people barely made the hike. I would recommend this cruise by Princess to anyone.

This cruise had such a great itinerary. My husband I Iike "destination" cruises, not just cruising for the sake of it. The ports on this cruise were all interesting - especially the first (Guernsey) and the last (LeHavre-Normandy), whose WWII history was so interesting and moving. The Caribbean Princess was a really nice ship, excellent service, food and entertainment. The only shortcoming to me were the lack of informative port talks. Instead of subject matter experts, they had a person who just seemed to be an experienced cruiser showing her own photos and commenting.

The trip was great - crew on ship were wonderful. Food was excellent. Weather didn't allow use of outdoor places on the ship which made the indoor areas very crowded which got annoying at times. It was very difficult finding a table at the Horizon buffet. The ports of call were great, though, the tours seemed rushed and didn't allow for much free/shopping time. Given how close the ports are to each other, it seems like the in port time could have been a few hours longer in several ports. Also, it would have been nice to have a sea day earlier in the itinerary. But, all in all, a wonderful trip.

Recently, my wife and I took a 12-day British Isles cruise on the Princess Line, Caribbean Princess. The itinerary of the cruise was excellent, with visits to Paris, France as well as ports in Scotland and Ireland. There was lots to see and enjoy. The weather was OK, mostly in the 50's to 60's during the day. The ship itself was OK, too. The food was above average, the shows were average but the service was excellent. Overall, out of a maximum of 10 points, I would rate this cruise an eight!

We have sailed Princess in the past and actually on this ship x2. It is clean and lovely, however.....Floor tile in bathroom was cracked and kept sticking to our feet when we went into bathroom. carpet very stained and worn in many areas, including our room. This ship is 9 yrs old and is in need of refurbishment badly. The staff were all great. They need to have more tables for 2 for those on the anytime dining option, as everyone had to wait with beepers for tables. We opted to share always, but many folks do not.

The Carbbean Princess was fantastic. Lots to do if you wanted to yet if you didnt there was places to do nothing. The places we visited were great and very interesting. Our room was fantastic. The service was great, especially our cabin steward Grace. There was also more food then you could ever eat and it was all delicious. Would recommend this cruise highly.

Our Cruise was nothing exceptional. The workers were kind, but the food, shows and port of call were average. We have sailed on Royal Carb., and Carnival. Both of those cruise lines were better across the board.

The ship was built in 2004 and its time to change the matresses. Mine had a bit of sag but not to the point of discomfort. The initial dining assignment was not satisfactory but the headwaiter changed us to a most satisfactory table. The crew and service was outstanding.
