Review summary

I didn't expect much from a 22 year old ship. The ship itself was ok, no foul smells. The crew were awesome! The food was delicious, no need to waste money at specialty restaurants. Cabin steward was amazing. I DO NOT recommend this ship for any cool weather itineraries due to over crowding. There was literally nowhere to sit & relax, every seat was taken. The pool area was unavailable due the cold weather & rain, no retractable Roof.

Ship tip

This ship was designed specifically for the Caribbean and does not have a roof for the pool area. When traveling north to cold weather (cool) themship was max packed and crowded everywhere ! Not a good experience due to crowded conditions.

I cruised on the Caribbean Princess and had a great time. The cruise was over the Christmas holiday, so the ship was at capacity, but never felt over crowed. I had no issues of getting seats, but will admit that buffet is small and seating can be challenging at peak times. If you want a seat get there early or don't go at peak times. Personally, I think you spent the entire cruise complaining instead of enjoying the cruise, and maybe you should stick with land based resorts if you don't like crowds.
