I hate you missed a port, but it can happen. In all honesty, the cruise line likely lost money by skipping the port. When at port passengers purchase shore excursions and the cruise lines makes money selling them. When you’re in port you typically eat a meal on land, thus the cruise line saves money not feeding you. There more examples, but surely you get the point. They don’t skip ports because they’ll make more profit. If you choose to cruise again, know that itinerary changes can be made and without notice. If a single destination is your primary reason for cruising, it’s probably best you just fly to that destination and vacation there.

I get the disappointment about the port, but they must have had a reason. You usually find breakfast is mostly the same each day because there is SO much choice each morning there’s not really much more they could offer, but you could always select a different thing each day. I find it hard to believe all the staff on any cruise ship would just be bad across the board, but I wasn’t on your cruise so cant argue with you. Hope you enjoy future cruises more.

Your cruise contract states that the cruise line can change your itinerary at any time for any reason, and they don't owe you anything. It wasn't a money grab - I'm sure they had a legitimate reason for skipping that port.
