Grand Cayman was cancelled for a good reason but still I have been waiting years to visit so it was a little disappointing

Belize tendering system was a mess. We missed our non Princess cave tubing excursion because it took 2 1/2 hours to get to shore. I think that was a complete joke. Completely ruined our trip to Belize. Very upsetting. Also, our cave tubing signed up for was 60% of the price of the Princess one. Perhaps Princess should price more competitively excursions with the outside groups. We did no Princess excursions because we found them much cheaper going on our own. I felt we did not get to spend enough time in Belize because of the tendering system in place. Many other people we talked to were upset about this as well. This was the only real negative on our trip.

Roatan and Cozumel were wonderful as advertised.

One thing I learned after many cruises is - even if it’s more $$. I book the tours through the ship - So if something happens you are not responsible. And that many times ports change for various reasons or the ship cannot stop. With this attitude I am rarely disappointed anymore!

Tender ports stress me out a bit! Priority is obviously given to those who purchased the (usually overpriced) excursions via the cruise line, so when booking with 3rd party you need to factor in that it may take you hours to get off the ship.
