Review summary

This ship has engine problems that they knew about before we sailed. Could not go as fast as it should. We got to ports late and did not have a lot of time at the ports. This ship was going out again when we left the ship. It was more like just a nice boat ride. I would not recommend this ship until issues are fixed. Everyone was shorted on their trip.

I'm doing a repositioning cruise on her, I really hope that they fix the engine issues. That will be a very disappointing 13 days to miss ports or get to destinations late.

Wow......all the negative views on Caribbean Princess. You would think this ship is the only ship on history with a engine issue. When I cruised on here over the holiday's, I thought the ship looked great for her age and I had a great time.

Unfortunately, and this is true for most of the mainstream lines, the cruise lines can not afford to take time out for repairs or to let customers know that they are not getting what they think they are getting. Covid and the resulting media/government anti cruise hype has left the industry in a precarious position as can be seen by all the cutbacks in quality.
