Review summary

This was not a typical Princess vacation. We sincerely hope that the cruise that we have booked for 1/28/23 is nothing like this cruise and that it is back up to Princess usual standards.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick & smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Very understaffed at restaurant & bars. Very long waits for food and drinks

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Used the pool.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Not good at all. 2 performers appeared twice. It was the first time in 10 Princess cruises that we walked out of a show. Also, nothing was scheduled in the Explorer Lounge as Princess always has done. The cruise director was almost invisible!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The restaurant supervisor, Lucy, was excellent. She was very accommodating and friendly and was a very hard worker. In the watch shop, Emma was very helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean but we did not like the layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very clean but how could you run out of lotion from day 1 and the bathrobes were missing?

Ship tip

I told many, many first time cruisers on Princess to NOT judge Princess by this cruise!
