It was fantastic! No sales pitches from photographers, about specialty restaurants, drink packages or from the spa, which were still available for anyone who wanted them. The main focus was on service. It was so good to be back on the cruise ship. We appreciated it a lot more this time too!

We were sailing on back to back cruises and so were a lot more people (over 300!), so getting back on the ship took longer than usual for back to back cruising.

All the stage shows were the same for both weeks, which I understand, however, they were all the same as we had seen in Jan. 2020, and several times before that.
They had less game shows the second week and more trivia. They probably could have done a better job dividing them up between the two weeks. Now I am getting too picky! You could book this cruise for 14 nights or do the back to back 7 nights.

This cruise was all about SERVICE! Princess has really stepped up their service, which has always been good, but this time it was excellent! Maybe the staff appreciated being back to work more than before, but whatever the reason, I hope they maintain that service.

Ship is getting old, but we didn’t have any problems with it and they have done a good job maintaining it.
Cabin / Stateroom

We have an obstructioned ocean view room, but we still had a great view of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We like the open closet, so much easier to find things.
Ship tip
Be kind and polite to all the employees on the ship. Be thankful for their service, yes, you paid for it, but a little kindness goes a long way!
I think many of the negative reviews are mostly based on pettiness or just a dislike for Princess. I was on this ship over tge holidays and had a great time. My only complaint was about slow internet, which seems to be fleet wide, probably to save money with a lower band width.
