Review summary

We loved our cruise. We love Princess, they do an outstanding job. There were noticeable differences in performance compared to pre-covid standards but there was nothing to really complain about. We have a great experience and ready to continue cruising with Princess.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The embarkation was very fast and using the medallion app made it so easy. The app sucks bad, but with some patience it makes life so easy.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedian and magician were entertaining. Vocalist was phenomenal! Production show was confusing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff always goes above and beyond. Waiters always remembered our preferences regardless of in the restaurant or buffet. Shop personal were so friendly.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is an older ship, but it has been well maintained. The design shows the age but was very clean and still very enjoyable.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was cozy for sure, but quite fine for the two of us. Love the princess beds. Planning on purchasing one for home.

Ship tip

Take advantage of all the fun and enriching this on-board that do not cost you anything extra.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
All day excursion to visit the Mayan ruins. We reported to the ship theater at 7:15 am. But sat there till after 8:30 before we could de tendered to shore. The tour company had busses ready to take us the 2.5 hours west to the ruins. The ride was fine, got to see life of the locals. The ruins were spectacular! It was a huge lifetime experience to visit, learn, and explore. The tour company took us to a local restaurant for a meal and returned us to the port. Because we were one of the last groups off the ship and with a 2.5 hour drive each way, we were late in returning to the ship.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
In Roaton, we hired a taxi to drive us around the island. He showed us what life was really like for the locals. He took us to a chocolate factory. We visited a small zoo of monkeys, birds, and sloths.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
There were four ships in Cozumel when we visited. It was very busy. We rented a car and drove ourselves to the far side of the island. The sights outstanding. Ate at a local place and was very impressed!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
We did the Kittywake ship wreck snokling excursion. This was a blast!

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
A little confusing and scary since we prechecked our luggage to our final destination. But our bags arrived on the other end of the country with us. This was completely worth the extra fee to not have to lug bags around while we waited for our flight after disembarking.
