The room was too small & cramped for a balcony room at that price. The ship was having to do a deep clean sanitation which is probably why they were late leaving & arriving in the ports. The cleaning process went on for the first few days. Dried spray was all over the store fronts & elevators. We were afraid to touch anything for fear of catching a dreaded disease. They allowed 2 crew to board our ship from another Princess ship carrying Coronavirus & told us nothing about it until we were not allowed to port. They said they would refund our excursions that were missed due to this and the CDC denying us to port. We have not seen any refund for the excursions which were purchased through Princess. The only refund was $75 for our inconvenience. They should have cancelled the cruise & refunded 100% to everyone. That would have been the ethical thing to do.
Embarkation

After arriving early, I was still literally the last person to board because the cruise line never mailed the medallion that is required for boarding. They had to make a replacement. Then when we returned home the medallion was in the mail; 11 days too late. These were ordered back in August 2019 for a March 2020 cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Buffet never had enough tables. The frozen drinks were terrible, and they do not use the Oasis Mix, but the Oasis blenders! They throw in regular fruit & ice, and not enough liquor to taste. I don’t drink much but thought I would purchase a couple to try, and it a waste of money. Glad I only had the soda package. The bar tender tried to sell my husband 2 premium drink packages for $750.00; Of coarse that was a big “No”.

Ship Quality

Balcony had chipped paint, with paint chips on the floor, and rust stains all over the balcony. Past due on maintenance!
Cabin / Stateroom

Much smaller for a balcony stateroom than other cruise lines for the same price. The tv was mounted so that you always had to be in bed to watch tv. The bathroom was about 3x3 feet of floor space. Very disappointed.
Did an excursion and saw a dance company at the theater. The city has old & new sites to see. The locals hound you to death to buy something & this became very annoying.
We were unable to dock, and our excursion was cancelled and the ship quarantined or put on a no-sail status due to allowing the transfer of 2 crew to board from another Princess ship, where there were positive cases of Coronavirus. We were not told this until we were denied to port in Grand Cayman. We were then told the 2 crew had been quarantined since they arrived on the ship.
They made the walk offs with own luggage wait in a dining room, that allowed for congestion and crowding prior to walk off. In light of the Coronavirus we were trying to avoid this.
We were on the Caribbean Princess just before you and we got shorted a day. You would have received a letter in your room stating your refund for a missed port will be mailed to you. Also the balcony rooms are large. Try going into a inside room and then you would have something to complain about . Princess took care of us and we will always stand up for them. The Caribbean Princess is a great ship.
You obviously didn't do your homework before the cruise you say the balcony and cabin was to small!!!, and everything was terrible we've sailed on Caribbean Princess twice and everything was fine.
The norovirus is caused by dirty people not washing their hands as for C-19 it's everywhere unlucky.
