You can only go ashore in Panama if you book an excursion. Do not take the hop on and off tour excursions unless you have at least eight hours on shore in Cartagena

Port call was short, Took the hop on and off excursions. It has 14 stops and we got off at the first stop for the historic old city tour and were only able to see half of the tour before we had to return to the ship at 1:30 all aboard

Smoothest ever, ship does not use the facial recognition systems that allows you to bypass customs, but with global entry or the mobile pass app there was no waiting
