I have take 25 cruises in my lifetime so far. This was the worst one. I have been on many other cruise lines beside Princess. Many Princess cruises but this was a big fat disappointment! I suggest trying another ship or cruise line if you are going to do the New England trip! Save yourself some grief!

Room steward was great. Waiters too slow. Had 3 different waiters during trip. Contracts up so original waiter went home in the middle of the trip. Never saw the Captain or the Officers during the whole trip. They made themselves scarce.

Way too many passengers for the capacity of the showrooms. Always lines everywhere. Hard to get a seat in the Lido buffet in order to eat - seems like all the time - all day long! Seemed a bit shabby over all.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room steward was great. Room was a bit shabby. Wallpaper peeling in places.
Took Hop on and Hop off tour bus excursion. Lousy. Not enough time in port to see much. Bus slow and time consuming. Missed return shuttle because of slow process on Hop on and Hop off tour bus. Were told that there would be a bus waiting to return us to the ship even though we were late. That was lie from the Tour company! Had to take an expensive taxi ride back to the ship! Do not take the Hop on and Hop off tour bus! You will be very sorry! Cold and too late in the season to see Fall colors.
I agree with you. This cruise ship ranks at the bottom of the cruises I have done. The entertainment was boring and 11 o'clock there is not much to do. Some may think this is being too fussy but the quality of sound in the theater was horrible. They either got a terrible sound system which I doubt or the need to fire thier sound guy because he has no clue in what he is doing . Royal Caribbean can teach them how to do it professional. In certain bars you couldn't get a drink after 10pm and you can't get a slice of pizza after 10. I think they restricted the ac to save money because it was always warm . I will never cruise princess again. Love Norwegian and Royal and I never had a bad cruise with them.
Seems like you wouldn't have fun anywhere..... Nothing but great things to say about our cruise on this ship. Never felt crowded, no lines, service was impeccable, and food was fantastic.
Your biggest complaint is too late for fall colors...yet you are the one who booked this time frame...princess can't control mother nature. Also if course there will be lines..3000 people trying to get on and off is going to cause a back up.
