This 2 week Circle Caribbean Princess cruise was the perfect cruise to break the winter blahs of the cold North East. We had a busy schedule once we got going and there was never a dull moment. Good planning goes a long way into ensuring an enjoyable trip. The days weren't long enough to do it all!
Embarkation

The new Medallion system made check in a breeze! No waiting in line!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Plenty of good food choices. Many gluten and sugar free options as well.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Only drawback was could not access the treadmills until 8:00 AM because of their location over cabins.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Did not attend all the shows but the few I did were very enjoyable.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were friendly and helpful in addressing any of my questions or needs.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
There was a section of moldy smelling carpet in our hallway, but other than that the ship was clean. More staff wiping down handrails and touch screens would have been reassuring.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was very nice. Quiet location at the front of the ship. Size was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the balcony. Only drawback was the view of the watch/bridge area when looking out.
Ship tip
Don't forget to check out the second buffet towards the back of the ship. Many times they offer a bit more variety and have more in stock than the front buffet.
We did a Princess Cruise excursion to visit Nevis island and Alexander Hamilton's birthplace. It was expensive for what we received, but there were many ferries and it was a far drive from the port.
We did a land and catamaran/snorkel tour through Princess. This tour was very nice. Bus tour first of the island to a few scenic and historic spots, followed by a catamaran and snorkel tour. Martinique by Land and Sea.
We did a 3rd party excursion with Tiami Catamaran Tours. Was disappointed because it turned out to be more of a mass drinking party boat. The staff was nice and the boat was easy to move around on. Snacks, drinks, a nice lunch, and dessert were served, as well as unlimited drinks, were served. The swimming with turtles (as promoted) was a let down. We did motor to a second spot for swimming but there were no fish and it was right off land in front of a busy resort beach. Would love to go back and try a different tour company/venue.
We took a Princess tour of Asa Wright Nature Center. It was on the other side of the island and so it was a fairly long bus ride. The driver was great and the nature center was worth it. Driving through the rain forest (dry season in January) was very interesting. The variety of birds and flowers was worth the effort.
3rd party excursion of kayak and snorkeling. Transportation to kayaking point took a bit of time. The actual kayaking was okay, had to cross a bay to get to the snorkeling area. Snorkeling was right next to a big moored, tanker ship. Snorkeling was actually very good as there was a sunken tug boat right near the shore that had a ton of fish.
Arranged a 3rd party excursion with Rancho Notorious through Trip Advisor. Pick up from port was prompt and efficient. Staff and horses at the ranch were great. Nestor was our guide for our private tour and was awesome. I highly recommend this place!
We signed up for early walk-off. A few of my travel mates signed up for EZAir where Princess took care of their luggage directly to the airline. It went smoothly and we caught an Uber to the airport in no time.
