We have always loved sailing with Princess, the ports of call were excellent, entertainment quite enjoyable and staff did a great job however the accommodations on this cruise were totally unacceptable. We were so lookin forward to a wonderful cruise with fmily and friends but came away sadly disappointed.

Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
First of all it should never have been designated as oceaniew as we were viewing the side of a lifeboad and not the ocean. Upon our arrival at our cabin we noticed the fowl smell and went directly to Customer Srvice to request a cabin change and was told that was not possible as ship was fully booked. 3 days in a row toilets in our cabin were not working, the smell was aweful in the cabin and the hallway outside. Then my husband and I both came down with sore throats and cough caused by the toxic odor of sewer gases, so unhealthy, and we were too sick to leave the cabin. Finally on day 12 of our cruise Simone moved us to another deck, and our last few dys were wonderful. Upon arrival home we had to wah and dryclean all our clothes before bringing them to our closets because of the sewer stench. I gave Simone a letter outlining some of the issued we encounterd while sailing on the Caribbean Princess. I can forward a copy to you if required. The section of the ship we were assigned to, should neverhave been sold o the public. Even the workmen in the area were wearing masks.
Ship tip
If you are assigned to E deck rooms 621 thre 633, don't go. It could be hazardous to your health
Kind of stupid to complain about the view, if you had read the description and looked at the ship maps, then you would have known that you had a strong chance of seeing the side of a lifeboat. On the smell and toxicity issue, I have seen that before, seems that the Caribbean Princess has issues that way.
